    Thanks for the advice Roger, are you suggesting that to get the experience i try and work for a company to start. There again would they take me on with no experience ? Thanks for the pointer to the journals il defo take a look at them. Cheers bob Bob, I started out helping out a mate, doing the odd bit of " rural " pest control work. I fancied doing it full time, & the only way forward I found was to get some savings behind me and get a job with one of the national companies, the money was dire but the amount of knowledge gained was priceless, not just the qualifications

    My advice is to be competitive in YOUR area. & as with any business try to keep the overheads right down without cutting down on service. I learnt the business side of pest control whilst earning poor money working for a big firm & it was invaluable, but most of the practical skill is self learnt and or by others mistakes. Good luck in your venture.

    Hello all, Old member, not been on for a year or so for one reason or another, glad to see the site going strong. I do a bit with hounds & terriers and a bit of shooting and trapping here and there.
