    Thanks, I was in a hurry because i was planning on going this weekend and wanted abit of advice. I have some snare wires now(unfortunately not good quality ones) so i wont try and use string or tree roots lol. I will get some good quality snares but as i now have some cheap ones i'll try them out tomorrow. thanks Slow down young jedi. Go swimming or something this weekend. The rabbits will still be there when you have the right equipment, and hopefully a LOT more knowledge of what your doing. I don't know much about snareing, i ferret, but ALL hunting revolves around dispatch

    You have done the right thing asking for advice, but by the sounds of it you are in a rush to go out and snare something. If you only want a few for the pot, what is the hurry? Take the advice you are being given, Buy Woodga's DVD. Get some GOOD QUALITY snares. Another thing, you seemed a bit worried about the rabbits screaming, are you sure you want to snare? What about if things went wrong because of lack of experience and you end up with a sweet little pussy cat in a snare?     Are you sure?, i hunt with a guy who uses a mk I and his box will pick up my mkIII collars but my MKIII wont pickup his collars. keith That's right, the MK1 box pics up MK3 collars (Think the range varies slightly though) But Mk3 box won't work with MK1 collars.
