    Love to listen to a dog work but still don't leave you without the locator but another question has to be asked about the quality of todays terrier when we are all willing to stick a hard or mute dogs into any earth before locators these dogs would not be given kennel space and I have noticed that some terriers have got very poor bays having been breed of dogs that do not use there voice this is like selective breeding and I always try and breed for voice as well as all the other quality have a bitch here who is breed from hard stuff has a very squakie bay so but a dog to here very good worker

    had a couple of things over the years one of the funniest was one morning walking a bit of rough next to a duel carriage way and a big fallow stag got up and tried to run across the road got hit by car and went up in the air about 10 foot and came down head first in middle of road me and my mate and my son grab dogs and head of the car is parked in a layby about 200 hundred away the lads take the dogs one way and I go back to get motor when I get there a Turkish minicab driver pulls in next to me and says please help I need police I said whats happened mate his car windscreen is all smashed fr

    Try using tinned cat food in a plastic bag hang it from roof the cheap stuff smells the most and I find it works well especially anywhere near urban areas and they have to tug it to get it so more chances of trap setting and you getting a result

    Get them signed then put them back to back and laminate rules on back permission on front they fit in pocket of gun sling have all mine like that so when you grab gun you always have them with you also make copies keep them in folder indoors job done

    Putting my old dog king collie bull greyhound over a collie greyhound bitch dog now 11years bitch has had her best season have waited a ong time to get a good bitch to put him to he is retired now but was still working up to last season

    Have one here he has been good dog no special lines just worker to worker done 8 full seasons will be putting him over my collie greyhound bitch this season to get a pup for myself and a couple of mates who also want one from him

    Here's a spanner in the works I think the popularity of the mute terrier has deminised some of the working ability of terriers in general you now get a lot of terriers with poor voice having been breed down from mute dogs I personally would prefer to sit on a bank listening to a good strong bay rather than crawl around with my head to the floor trying to hear a bump or grunt no doubt some very good dogs have come from this dog have a bitch here now that does everything I want from her has one fault weak bay but with the collars and locators of today not such a issue just hope the battery's don

    Still 1981 is 34 years ago at least 20years before most of the terriermen on here were born lol
