  1. shut it you Earthy. The idea works. Although the tolerances push the trap to the limit.
  2. Another moling topic. Apologies but hey ho!! Putange triggers. I could have posted this thread earlier but wanting to try these traps fully in most situations I work in, I've been doing just that. The concept came briefly from someone who is into fettling with traps. We were given a rough measurement and an idea. I say we loosely. in all honesty my contribution was presenting the idea to a man who can and mulling over concepts. A few traps were harmed in the making of these!! Now. I tried the original triggers and passed the traps on to others to have a play. I must admi
  3. f**k me!! Welcome back fella.
  4. What? From a nice dry hide tucked up in the shelter of a hedge. Or hardcore out in a downpour with rain seeping down your neck and reaching your nicker line?
  5. Personally I think some are just being fannys. Not directed at anyone in particular and no offence intended. But fannys non the less. If I looked. I could put up loads of pictures with hundreds of rabbits shot in the pissing down rain. Proper rain not that fine stuff that gets you wet. Never had any problems. Pellets hit where they should and did the job. Only problem with shooting in the rain is water on the lenses.
  6. Hutch6 " I adjusted mine by putting them in a bin for a week until they disappeared." Best reply I've read for a while
  7. It's only Mark you confused. But that doesn't take much
  8. Fold up decoys. Laser range finder and Samsung mobile (model number G920F). Tap talk is a messaging app. App is short for application..!!
  9. Quiet a lot. As other box makers have knocked a few out. Done one or two myself. Middle compartments. Bottom compartments. Removable centre sections to make the box a single, double or a triple. They have all been done mate. Cayenne eh? Could be worse. You could drive a Beamer.
  10. Measure twice. Cut once!! Proper bling. Won't go amiss in the back of an overfinch Posh ferreting. Looks good mate.
  11. Sorry dido didn't mean it like that ...you know it can get a bit daft in the General section the catapult section isn't any better. Feck. You should have seen some of the posts removed!!
  12. There's some good eating there mate. For your own eating or do you sell them on?
  13. Second that Made from beech it will last for a good while.
  14. Just send the fooker back. It's freepost after all. I'm guessing all manner of things could be posted which they have to pick up the tab for! I wonder what the postage cost for a 9" solid concrete block would be?
  15. Post it back to them. I would like to say at their expense but no doubt they will re shaft us in some way or another. The freepost should come out of the torrie coffers. Joanna George, Freepost RSBB-XRZT-ZTXE, The Conservative Party Foundation, 30 Millbank, LONDON SW1P 4DP.
  16. It don't matter what I like. It's your box. And you asked for input. Which I gave. Yes the expa mesh is soft to the touch. On the outside. It's the inside of the perforation which is sharp. The thinner gauge plate/mesh you go. The sharper it becomes. You may never have a problem. Who knows?
  17. To be honest driving a distance for good ground is normal. Most of my decent permission is a good half hour away. As good ground round and about is taken or spoiled by dickheads you have to look further afield. My mates just landed a load of good permission which is a 2 hr drive away. Rabbits. Pigeon and deer. The funny thing is he got it because he asked!! Unlike the idiots that just rock up and poach.
  18. That is one hell of a drive , is it good though ? I get there a few times a year but tie it in when I'm working down there. It's only rats but plentiful and beats being stuck in the digs. Good? It's ok. But I wouldn't be driving all that way just to shoot rats. I've plenty of that 5 minutes away.
  19. Closest 2 min drive. Furthest 6 hr drive!!
