    whats this about st bernards ? i know of a woman in lincolnshire who breeds and shows st bernards and the place is an absolute sh1t heap with bags of crap stacked high in news while ago whent on hoilday and left dogs at home unattended even had other owners bernards there boarding when she done it.

    well im dorset born,fond memories growing up there in late 70,s through to the 90,s. had 6 years in the forest of dean up til last year which was pleasant. went back to dorset for 10 months and its too overcrowded now ive visted brimingham and epping and croydon and all i can say is the places that stick in my mind most is the shetland isles,mull,kilda etc and when i was 5 i holidayed at carrbridge in north scotland and we toured round loch ness,fort william etc seen curlews and chicks on the moors etc. so i would say scotland and its islands.

    my old mans had 2 pajeros a swb mk 2 2.8 manual and a mk1 2.5 lwb which hes owned for 9 years. hes was a member of the owners club as well and his take on things is the mk1 is better on fuel due to the better diff ratio. he reckons the 2.5 is stronger engine as well he changes oil every 3,000 miles. he wouldnt own either the 2.8 or an auto if you gave it too him. and hes turned down 2 grand for his lwb several times.

    Bit mental, but i'm not that surprised. I used to date a South African girl who had just moved over here with her family. They had brought two Ridgebacks with them, not the pussy ones you see over here, but the real deal, some VERY impressive looking dogs. They had an absolute hatred of black folk, mainly due to the fact that most crime around them was committed by blacks and so were trained that if they saw an unknown black trying to enter the house / yard etc, they just piled in.
