I think if they are going to introduce a carnivore then the lynx is the best suited yes some livestock will go missing , but it is pretty secretive and I think sticks to a territory ? I don’t know how many young they have a year but these people that say about wolves being introduced they have large litters and travel huge distances and would go through livestock more than a lynx . And I really can’t imagine bears being reintroduced so the lynx is the best option to control deer ?

I’m getting my hybrids mixed up I just googled and yes the kellas is hybrid between domestic and wildcat but when I said kellas I meant the strange looking hybrids that appeared in Scotland in the 80s they was called rabbit headed cats .
