  17. had a half x out of there nearly 20 years ago good lamp dog but did lack pace for daytime other than rabbits also had 3/4 bred which was twice the dog very good top end speed that put many big ears in bag both blue and brown variety saw the add and had they been 3/4 breds id ave been really interested but nice to see the beddie x still about i like the breed a lot atb taffey
  18. cracking topic about wt and top breeding in them pups very strong healthy pups
  19. got a first x saluki whippet here only 14 months but showing great promise on different types of terrain loads of stamina and early pace you obviously like the saluki and the whippet so utilise the merits of both breeds and find a GENUINE half x of that breeding mines levelled out at 23 1/2 tts so ideal size for the only quarry we can run legally now sounds like you got a nice piece of ground good luck with finding the right dog to run it atb taffey forgot to add my first x is got the making of being a very good dog for working with the ferrets / nets really steady round sets but switches on
  20. like i said before no use on internet so no photo as yet try and get someone to put 1 on for me there about 8 inch square at the entrance grid then the net folds round the frame so not bulky abot an inch or 2 thick you ll not use them instead of purse nets or longnets but to have a few with you in your bag ll make little difference in your weight /space and you ll definetley find a use for them i only bought 4 and used 3 on sun day and they caught a couple of rabbits we would have missed or had to dig out coz they were running up and down top of very thick hedge brian brinded makes them there
  21. they look nothing like the hoop net in that link he had them on his stand as well like lanesra said these nets will add rabbits to your bag if your spoilt and doing clean horse paddocks full of groundsets then they ll be no benifit to you if your working rough bramble hedges /thick hedges with well used runs on top of hedge then you ll do a lot worse than having a few set on top at 7 notes a piece they wont break the bank there ll be an hours work making them a piece of weld rod 4 ft of net a fibreglass peg and some drawcord his profit margin wont make him a millonaire lol i ll try sort a pic
  22. i got them after asking what they used for he said there for putting on outside edge of pig wire the 4 inch square stuff you push them into ground were rabbits are popping through weather it be lamping or daytime theres a clip with them you can clip them onto wire if its very windy they could be called hoop nets but not sure they ll come in very handy when ferreting be it on top of runs were rabbits running up and down hedge tops like lanesra said they were handy when used for first time yesterday weve got lots of stock fencing were we go ferreting they ll be worth there weight in gold to put
