  1. As far as i have been told by ch himself( )both the dogs mentioned are,not sure about the one on the left in the first pic though.
  2. Barry the dog on the right is nephew to your bitch, The sire of my russell dog, this dog is dead now.
  3. I sort of knew what was happening due to reading about what Andy and co had done and the dog i did it to was in a poor way.so they not only helped Timbers dog .
  4. Do you think she'll go very yellow or will she be like my lutino greenie hen and be quite white with a bit of yellow on her?.I do want to let my step son show her this coming year but i sure don't want to ruin her so do judges prefer a peachy coloured bird or a yellow more natural coloured one?,if you know about showing that is as i don't .
  5. I used coca cola one night at the chinky take away when a bull x went down, miles from any where jobby.I had to force open the clamped jaws and squeeze it in,the poor bugger couldn't help it but by god he clamped my fingers as well,10 mins and it's up and about and ok again.I do have electrolites in my first aid kit but i also allways carry a mars bar for that instant result type thing if needed.

  10. Some more pics, Better pic of the lutino greenie cock silver lesser redpoll hen sitting hard. red factor hen chaffie cock in his flight. greenie chicks, one normal, one lutino. The mule chick i've been hand rearing the lutino greenie mule,as you can see she's starting to yellow up and was wondering if i colour feed her will it mess up the yellow as i haven't seen it on her before and i like it anyone????. some not so clear pics. .
  11. She is a hen your right but i'm pleased with her and she'd be the one i keep if i only could keep one bird sort of thing,I'll put some new pics up of her as she's not been colour fed this year as is changing into a more yellow bird rather than the peachy colour she has been. She hasn't even built a nest though this year and in fact only one of my hen mules has done and i've needed a foster mum once or twice this year as well.
  12. Barry i wish i knew how to remove faces from pics as i have a pic of the Lucy we are talking about and it's a different terrier than the one you have shown, but still so far i'm happy with the ones i have and thats all that counts to me .

  20. I know someone with a red dog called Vixen, accident waiting to happen imo as if the dog did shoot out a earth and the owner called it's name when someone with a gun was waiting for a bolt there be a red flash and a shout of vixen and a bang if the gun wasn't 1000% on the ball.
  21. Cracking and well done mate, good when a plan comes together eh.
  22. smashing russells fireman....... hope they are going well for yea Young dog is showing good signs so far, bolted a few and stuck to his task in a big place keeping the pressure on so his hearts in it so far and he don't mind a kiss and cuddle either, the bitch is around 10 months so just growing and will have a few ratting trips this summer and will be shown the ropes next season. One thing i will say about all the terriers from CH's terriers are there temprements are second to none, all mellow, quiet in kennels and seem to be happy where ever they are, very level headed terriers.
  23. Not knocking the line in any way but not all are winners under the turf, here's a dog from the breeding that just wouldn't push on.He was a good enough ratting dog but i got plummers for that,so he's now a pet. a days ratting we had 150 all dug to the dogs marks and he held his own that day and was not a year old then. but wasn't a earth dog.
  24. Be carefull what you wish for mate ,my luck may just be turning as well as i just managed to ring my two greenie chicks. One just squeezed on with a bit of spit and it does look like my chaffie hen has chose her nest site now, just praying the goldie eggs are full.
  25. It's getting on now this time of year and to be honest anything any good will be being used 99% of the time, but saying that things do happen to folks and they do get rid of good stuff mid season.I'd get some greenies towards the end of the year now as any youngsters will need to moult out and a few greenies fall fowl at this stage so better off waiting till the moults over, join one of the bird forums and there's so much more help than i can give you as i'm only a newbie at this game myself really.British Birds in Aviculture is a good one and there's many many good bird folk in your part of the
