  1. You aint gona get very far with a bar against 3 lads , at the luckiest you take one of them out by the time you you hit 1 the other 2 are kicking your head in get yourself on ebay & get a stungun fkers wont come next to you Smash the windscreen then set about the driver,9 times out of 10 it'll be there own motor and there'll try to drive away and with luck there'll leave one of there mates behind for you.Seen it happen more than once and every time it went the same way, smashed motor and fella left behind.
  2. Andy that cage is half empty, now it had been a proper lurchers catch it'd been half full mate.
  3. He can go and sort those pest 100% legaly,so what if there's lambs, pigletts or what ever outside the earth where the fox is.The law says "for the protection of game birds",well every bit of land in the UK has the right to dig foxes to protect the wild game birds as we all know there nesting right now and the law does not state in anyway what the land has to be like(forestry, heathland or hillside) nor does it state the game birds have to be released or reared. Omegathelast your mate has every legal right to remove those pests,it's just IF he is ever asked why he is removing the pest he says it
  4. Just carry a beaten up old can with you and say your out looking for a safe place to pratice, then hope they don't find that old phessy in your coat pocket .
  5. The only real question is "do you have to breed her?",if you want a pup yourself and some mates want one then go for it,if it's because you just want to then don't.
  6. Ebay i think i got mine from but ask on the bird forums and someone will have some(norwichfinchman) usally has a few on the BBIA table at the sales and shows.
  7. I did breed some last year and i also had some goldie mules bred and as my goldie cock isn't the best of singers i got a cd to play to them 24/7.Some of the greenie mules are singing greenie with goldie song mixed in with it,others who have lived in the same aviary just sing greenie. The greenie mule does belt out the song and mine sing a lot more than my goldie mules do,really clipper it depends on what they hear as youngsters in which song they choose to sing but this year i'm going to play a few different songs to my mules as the siskin song is also a cracker and if they pick bits up from th
  8. Well done Clippper, grand old do mate and all the best of luck with the other birds.3rd lutino greenie nest built and an egg in it this morning and now just praying this nest comes off ok.

  11. There are lots of plummers without the "new blood" in them and not that hard to find, what isn't so easy is to find a stud dog that does tick the boxes you want from a stud dog.
  12. So who's is the stud dog your on about?,genuine question.
  13. Well mate, one thing is for sure who ever told them to put it back has some force behind his words or else the dog would still be gone.Bet it was the first kennel the scroat came to mate when he returned her, probebly didn't really want to hang around putting her back so chucked her in the first one that was open.
  14. Sounds like someone you may know may have found out who had nicked it and talked him into putting it back, glad you got your dog back mate but like i say sounds like someone close to you knows who did it.
  15. Well at least we helped put a bit of spark into the last day and were staying up,jobs a good un and like i said "shit happens Bolton" .
  16. Sort of luck i've been having mate, but good luck with the goldie mules. One of the new birds i got the other day is a egg eater, have lost 2 irish/goldie and a lutino greenie egg to it and both hens jumped the nests as well.Going to have to build a new flight for the new pairs and hope they sort it out,i have got some old eggs that are duff and was thinking of putting mustard in a couple like you would do with a chook egg eater, would this or does this work with natives anyone???????.
  17. Don't worry Utd fans,Hugh's will gee the "Super Hoops" ( ) onwards to victory and not only save your arse's, our's as well.Sorry Bolton and city but sh*t happens .
  18. He may be 12 but he needs to learn a bit quicker than he is.
  19. Up towards St Davids is also cracking but do take a lead for the dog as that coastal path is not a place for a run around dog mate, buster try down on the foot bridge in Cardigan on a low tide.Mental bass underneath it at times and a free lined sand eel or crab bait caught me my pb from there.I lived that way before i moved to Norfolk and i used to fish 3-5 days a week there it was so good, now i go out maybe 3-5 times a year to the brown featureless puddle thats the north sea.Have fun fella's.
  20. Thats a risk we all take Gnipper when pairing up birds, are we wasting our time?.Only way to find out mate is to try, some we win, some!,well were learning that one eh
  21. Big fat full crops, cracking and just what you want to see with chicks.Well done that man and his birds.
  22. My quail will feed alongside my natives no problem what so ever, never even seen them shoo each other off the mealworm dish.As for rats yes they will and do take quail,i lost all my youngsters my quial raised last year and i searched the aviary high and low for a gap big enough for a rat to get through let alone pull a quail through but couldn't find anything, not even a few feathers but i did have some young rats under the paving slab floor i have,a ferret and a plummer terrier soon saw them off and these days i run a poison bait box 24/7 as if it ain't rats it's fecking mice your'll attract wi
