    Your enthusiasm is commendable mate but your overdoing the disenfectant .This time of year a rinse with water is fine and a disenfect twice a week.In summer ,the need to keep the smell and flies down necetates more often use .

    The pad is an awkward place for an injury as the blood supply to extremities is sometimes not as good as the rest of the body .You will need to bind this up if you are to take the dog on any sort of excercise as it will open and allow the intrusion of dirt and therefore possible infection .The dressing will need changing after every walk too .The good news is the excercise will stimulate the blood supply .Good luck.

    Many artificial holts are put in by well meaning people but always sited too low and are flooded in winter .Ive seen a litter of fox cubs born in one locally which must happen regularly .Never found sign of the many otters released around us .

    Foxhunter- It was a pleasure mate.Nice to be in the company of a likeminded sportsman.The roe around me are plentiful and therefore taken for granted .Its only when you hear about another part of the country that you start appreciating your own .Roe can be seen out at any time of day or night and no early morning trips are necessary to bag a few .Pity we never saw any muntjac mate as I know how you feel about those little deer .

    ...................rabbit a close second ,beef of the lean variety for toning muscle.You will struggle to maintain a decent muscle tone on complete dry foods mate as the muscle requires more protein the harder it works and dogs are not able to access all protein types in dry food ,contrary to manufacturures claims .Raw protein is the muscle builder and maintainer . To answer your question -Yes eggs are a good source of protein but in moderation,no more than one a day.

    A better terrier man would be hard to find.His terriers are a credit to the man and IF you manage to get the real deal from him ,you wont be dissapointed .The line is very much his own and very distinct in size and head shape .I dug to a bitch of his a while back in a very tight spot but the bitch saw it through to a very satisfying conclusion .

    Yorkshire lad -Remove the flesh that isnt eaten every day mate and search the bedding for any hidden bits as it will decay and may cause problems .Fresh food daily is another good excuse to get out and find more .Water should be available at all times as well .
