Trouble is ,lying down would get that shell suit dirty and the shiney trainers scuffed . You are a messer lad and always will be .Why dont you give that terrier to someone who does a bit and concentrate on whatever shiney trainer, shell suit wearers do because it ain't digging .

................you dont need any, trust me ,lol.

Exactly mate but i dont dissaprove of anyone not wearing it .The world would be a poorer place if we all did the same thats for sure .

Im a afraid im a cammo man with face mask ,gloves and scent block coat .Deer may be colour blind but like all prey species they are tuned to respond to forward facing eyes ,the eyes of a predator .I have stalked without all this and managed a beast but i prefer to be covered ,especially if daytime foxing .

A few evenings ago i was out with Martin down at a place of his sitting out for a muntie buck /fox in a valley that can only be described as a stalkers paradise.Never been here and seen nothing and this evening was no different .Got myself to a bush i usually sit under and lost myself in the surroundings to be honest as will be revealed in a second . A roe doe ran down over just to my left ,got my wind and barked only 15 yds away ,ran down to a fence which she followed uphill a bit and dipped under to reappear on the opposite slope but much calmer.watched her for ages through the bins but got

Propper there mate .We've had similar but those days are sadly gone as the farmers found a pester that knows his stuff .640 our best with a bonus fox dug whilst waiting for the sheds to be pulled .Hope it keeps up for you in the future .P.s ,lurchers a must in that situation to get the sneaky long runners .

I decided on a visit to a place that rarely holds a good head ,it being a main dog walking area for a nearby town but this evening i got lucky .The deer are notoriously hard to stalk as they get the runaround from anyone with the right dog if you know what i mean .I clocked a buck and doe at a good range and had plenty of time to plan a stalk as they looked content to browse the grasses in the, as yet uncut field .Crawling through waist high grass with only the occasional glimpse of your quarry is one of the things i enjoy ,the sun was shining ,butterflies flitted and the birds sang .Lowering

Cats carry very few diseases affecting dogs and are no match for a determined terrier however there are legal issues that im sure will be explained .

Me too hence the late start time .Had to travel a bit . -
Friday evening last, i was invited to try for a muntie buck on a patch a mate has ,a patch incidentally that has produced no fewer than 7 gold muntie heads .We arrived to find the farm hands mowing silage fields on the lower ground but our destination was the slopes that surround this place, slopes that scream mutjac from all corners .Areas of trees and thick hedges interspersed with the obligatory bramble patches so beloved by this little deer and all on chalk downland .We could glass the slopes from the farm but my host said we needed to get a move on as it was now 8pm already .The tactic her

No probs mate .As said we were beginning to lose all hope as the weather was coming in a bit but the luck held again Its a very good buck though, one that has held territory here for a couple of years i think .His replacement is in the wings though make no mistake Another medal for the Somerset trophy hunter ,lol. The cost is mountain up a bit now mate ,lol. -

fd If you read my post you'll see "Complacency, ignorance, stupidity, arrogance, incompetence, lack of concentration, lack of attention to detail or poor attitude". I think these take into account those you mentioned e.g.piss poor preparation of kit, anxiety, pressure and weather conditions. If you pull the trigger when attempting a marginal shot due to weather, environment, company, or pressure. You need to seriously look at your attitude.IMO I accept that mistakes can and do happen,. But I also believe the less gung ho you are the less frequently the mistakes are made. I'm not that compet

Well outed gents ,fecking messer .Luckily with smolder and gulley on board we are getting through them. . Delete the bounder i say .

You are making yourself look a first class c**t mate with little or no understanding of the real world ,deluded tosser. My guess is you are an ex pat who hungers for the home country ,well f**k off we dont want you back .
-
All those contributing factors you mention are indeed what contribute to poor shooting along with piss poor preparation of kit, anxiety, pressure and weather conditions that you forgot to mention.None of us set out with these in mind but unfortunately they crop up during an outing especially the pressure issue when in company .I get it and i've shot thousands of deer.I know how to control it but others don't.Maybe we will see a few pics from you about your trips out or a vid or two but then again maybe not .Just to conclude, RE- Johns advertising ,there is a recession on mate or has that not re
