  1. Hi folks, after sadly loosing my 10months old pup last week I’m looking for a replacement. Ideally I want something from a pup to 5months old. Must be a male dog. With regards to the cross ideally I would want bull 1/4 bull greyhound x deerhound collie greyhound. If there’s anything about please let me know, Willing to travel. Thanks

  4. zeroing your rifle will vary with reference to your ammunition, a 243 is a more than able round for the uk and depending on the beast your deciding to hunt your zero should vary, the change in grains and heads will alter your trojectory each time, so i think the best advice would be to find your most populer round that you will be using, say 100grain ball tip and grain solid slug, whatever it may be, and zero the rifle on your first round at 100yds, youl find by putting your second choice of round through will differ on your target, this is due to the flight pattern of the slug changing its c

For those of you that purchase the shooting times you will be aware of the article regarding shooting deer at close range, 'last weeks issue'. the article went on about good tactics in order to allow deer to come close and tips on how to avoid being spotted etc. ive witnessed this first hand and i managed to get so close to a young 6 point stunning red stag in scotland that i could have decked it with the but of my rifle. i firstly spotted the young prince about 3/4 mile away with around 4 hinds. so the challenge was set and i planned my route and wasted little time before setting on my way. a

  7. no set age to start your dog buddy, this tends to vary with the breed line and fraction of cross. all dogs are different, take him out as soon as you feel confident hes up t themark, let him witness oher dogs at work first, and if hes keen tr him, i would suggest tryin him first on saller sets and small 2/3 holers. just dont forget to put the coller on or you might have a job getting to him. hope this helps.
