    At one time terriers were bred to be work specific,if they were not work specific they were never bred from.Now many a terrier is useful only because of the technology it wears and the owner utilises.I prefer a terrier thats bred to work without the assistance of batteries and one that is safer because of the technology utilised to assist it and not make up for what it lacks.You for real lol.Doubling up dogs is the ultimate sin and reflects on your standards not the dogs .As for having a jibe at mute dogs lacking ,its obvious you know nothing about single handed terrier work .Maybe your experi

    Mental attitude of the man is a given mate or they have no business owning a worker but agreed ,some dogs are better suited than others .

    Was some of that breeding around here but it died out .Wasn't overly impressed it has to be said but only saw a few go so no real comparison to any of the other stuff .

    Every terrier man on here will be keeping terriers of a size to suit his or her preference .The fascination with size is short lived when you travel a bit and see dogs of very differing sizes do the same job .Mental attitude far outweighs size in the must have stakes and runs side by side with constitution and fitness .

    Misuse mate .Dehydration and stress .Perhaps ive seen some bad examples but id rather a good summer litter than nurture a touch and go autumn,winter litter that needed heat and before anyone says it ,dogs do not need heat lamps in the summer in any shape or form to rear a litter .Each to their own i guess ,just my take .It also means someone has to be checking them a lot more than without due to the thing failing etc ,hence more fuss ,more stress .Like i said just my way and i wont be changing any time soon .
