    Not common mate .Woodies nearly always coincide breeding with the harvest ,ripening of grain .In town ,ferals breed all year granted but not woodies .Any pics .

Both foxes were untangled until I got near ,one in the hedge and one on the grass but my presence caused understandable girations which resulted in one going over the wire

    Well known fact foxes take piglets ,seen it myself at a local small holding where the owner was blaming a dog .We dug a fox nearby and found two part eaten piglets in the earth with it and in winter too .They really are a menace around young stock of any sort .Got a text last week from a farmer who gone out to check a cow calving in a barn to find an ear bitten off the calf half out and stinking of fox.It survived but would of been half eaten if not for the farmer checking regular . Well done on your bag mate .

    Had a look out yesterday on a small shoot .Mate travelled up to mine for an 8 am start and got to farm about 20 past on a nice frosty morning .First thing we see is a fox going away under a gate but headed in the right direction to a shelter belt full of holes .Got a mark at the first place but I know this runs out into the neighbours field and he's touchy at the best of times so moved on .Another mark at a small 3 holder ,a place you would walk by without a marking dog,entrances caved in and cluttered with fallen branches but the dogs marked true .Netted up and entered the bitch .Few thuds an

    64 gb mate ,came with it .Tried it on a shotgun on driven pheasants and never picked up one bird I shot .Try it ratting bit closer I guess .
