    I would say that the Bedlington ,rather than needing to be spread about ,needs to stay within the groups that have this breeds future at heart ,those that WANT to see it work to the highest grade not just scrape by .Those lads know who they are and know who to trust .If a Bedlington is what you want ,really want then get to know the lads that have them ,work hard and earn their respect .Too many men want instant results without the graft ,graft that earns respect and the offer of a pup .

    A peddler is someone who continually has pups for sale no matter how much they are .No one working, keeping terriers has any need for pups year on year without targeting the market .

    Why not mother to son.Seemed more defects or culls would happen this way round.Is there any evidence to back this theory up or is it just hearsayive seen mother son mating been done first mating all pups were perfect repeat mating two pups came undershotPlenty dogs are undershot from unrelated matings ,including my Labradoodle,so whilst its not good for a terrier ,its not that bad from a inbred mating is it.?......and the reason why there is so many undershot dogs about ,exceptance .

    If the brother ,sister intended mating is on the grounds both are good sound workers with no physical defects whatsoever and your sure there is no other route to reach your goal, then I'd go ahead based on your intentions to fold back into your line .Was the sire of them closely related to your own stuff mate .I'd rather see father daughter because its worked here many times .The idea of an outcross straight after baffles me though as you would be or possibly might be undoing any traits you bred for in the close mating .Physical defects are the only real reason to prevent any matings as work g

    Yes mate .I had a fold up saw which would of coped but don't like cutting a root that size for the sake of the tree ,me being sensitive and all that .fBeddies are the tallest of our breeds as I'm sure your aware but not necessarily heavy with it .I'll take a guess that the bitch is about 14 inches to the shoulder and the dog maybe 15 -16 .Someone will put me right no doubt .
