    None of us like to feed meat past its freshness but no harm will come if fly free .The water method is a good tip mate .I leave out overnight indoors on a tray and fridge it before work .Will try the bucket though as will be right temp to feed IMO. Nice one king .

    In layman terms if your cough is prolonged ,roughly 2 weeks then goes ,your dog has had kennel cough .There is no cure and it just gas to take its course but is very infectious. If it's short term more likely to be an allergy to pollen or what sandymere said .

    I agree with DanielG about cats being easy to cage trap ,too easy at times .Why don't you invest in a large cage trap greyman and put it somewhere you have permission ,where there's sightings and put this to bed for good .I'm damn sure if I saw one ,even briefly ,it would be on my wall within a week .im no photographer but the pic of the supposed cat in the woodland has been blown up so much to lose all scale and in my opinion weather played no part .Get some real pics up greyman or your on a loser for sure .     The vets want you to jab yearly which is a waste as far as I'm concerned. Immunity is built up naturally once the dogs is adult but pup jabs a necessity as far as I can see.

    My money is on a woodpecker,seen them do it to starling chicks in a hole below their own .Actually watched it happen from a high seat nearby .Never killed them but dragged them out and dropped them .

    We used to freeze blood in ice cube trays mate and use them to drop for a trail .Wait a few minutes for them to thaw and away you go ,saves all that mess and stink from old blood . Finish off with a slice of liver for reward .Best of luck with your trailing .In my experience terriers are very fast on a trail and even more so when they get the hang of it ,faster than purpose dogs like hpr and labs .

    Any dog with an ounce of hunting about it can be taught to trail. The hardest part being the human doing the training .Any of coon hounds could trail whatever you wed them too and more Mate.

    Fair comment Neil ,just seems strange anybody takes notice or would want to allow a dog to travel an artificial tunnel to bay at an artificial quarry but each to their own .
