    I've had a buzzard in the past and flew it but never once caught anything with it .They are lazy buggers waiting for the weak to die in my experience .I've known keeper moan about them killing poults but never seen it myself .Wouldn't argue with anyone though as I' m not like that lol.

    Bleeding will stop around 10th day and turn to clear liquid. THIS is when she is most fertile and lasts for roughly 3 to 4 days .Vulva stays swollen for another week or more then finished.

    Nowt wrong with that shooting when rabbits need culling .We don' have that luxury here as they'e been almost wiped out. Who needs antis with so called hunters commenting like that chap.get real .

    Went to all London marches and meets with Avon Vale hunt .Winding up antis and dodging coppers .Should do it again .I remember some anti giving an interview by a bridge and I hollered at the top of my voice into the microphone scaring the shit out of her and film crew .Be a good time now that's there's even more support for hunting than there ever was .

    I’ve informed police liaison officer who wasn’t bothered at all tbh . A10 not needed apparently as I’m not using it for monetary gain or public display . Been in touch with NE ,defra and cites and none of them are interested in causing me a problem . The bird is very tame now even with door open and comes to me regardless of food on the glove or not .

    Trouble with painillers either human or animal is that they mask problems that otherwise wouldn't be stressed or overlooked .

    Mistakes are one thing ,they happen but the niggling doubt of of a repeat performance is what dosn't sit well with us .Rest may do him the world of good and hopefully he starts next season with a decent outlook .Atb with him mate .

    Agreed and I've never been in hunt service but I've known a few full timers over the years . They have their place I agree but not in my kennel and I suspect yours neither.

    Good point Neil ,constitution is very important but must not be confused with age .The more a dog does when younger,the faster it tells on the body later, same with us .

    Are you saying he found then for whatever reason he lost touch and couldnt' find again despite extensive searching or did he he come away after a quick half hearted search after losing. The first is annoying but the second is the start of a full Jack ime .The former can be put down to quarry digging away fast and walling in with the earth caked in scent afterwards .Go back another day same dog and you will have it. They are not machines mate despite what some believe .Would rather go back and have it than really do your head in trying to desyfer what the dogs doing wrong .

    You'e lucky Rob .Im' the first to say antibiotics are never the first thing to reach for but on occasion they have been needed .Go to any vet and they dish them out like sweets for the slightest cut. They have a place when things arnt healing so good but never as a preventative .
