One on the right looks to me to be feline ,the left canine .What species is very hard to tell from that range .The casual picking up of paws on the right is a feline trait whereas the fast pace ,constantly stopping looking round is canide. What thermal unfortunately does is highlight heat therefore tails ,especially at distance ,look spindly .

Reading between the lines mate I think Max has been made a scapegoat for the sake of keeping the peace .I’ve stuck up for him numerous times but unfortunately he’s his own worst enemy .If he’d only just come back on and keep his head down for a while ,he would integrate without the obvious paper trail he leaves but he seems to think he’s that important and entitled so as to be allowed to say what the feck he likes to whoever he likes .Paulus has made the decision to sack him and personally ,unless Max has a huge change of heart and tows the line ,I think it’s the right choice at this point in

Skull centre of pic shows exactly what other bucks are capable of inflicting .Still very much alive and doing well until I shot it . There was a piece of snapped off antler in that hole that I have somewhere and pics of it fresh dead .

Do your other cat watchers have a broad grounding in all our flora and fauna from ants to zebra mussels and aubritia to zenobia in the uk or are they big cat specialists
