    As the chickens are all shut in under flu regs as the moment I havnt been round the sheds ,no point no chickens out so no killing or so I thought .Phone rang yesterday morning with an excited farmer on the phone telling me a fox had dug into a shed and killed 300 + birds ! Well can’t have that can we so after hearing about the ordeal again and again and being told the fox only took one about 30 times I agreed to turn out on a cold night ,all alone and see what I could do . Why do farmers have to exaggerate so much ?I get there mid afternoon and the farm hands are clearing up the huddle

    No mate it’s actually not .If I lost my firearms tomorrow Id be hunting something following day by some means .If it’s in you it’s in you no getting away from it . If your life had taken you on a different path and you could /wanted to own a firearm you’d still be out doing it just lawfully .The difference is only a stroke back in time that takes you on one path or another . Like I said I’ve done the off piste stuff and glad I did in a time when things were more relaxed . Its just a shame this site is no longer hunting first ,gossip second .

    Totally agree Paul but why join a hunting site where hunting is discussed if not to share and discuss hunting . I don’t need adulation I just hunt and share such on here ,not for likes but to discuss . Ive got a firearms Paul so things need to be above board but it wasn’t always that way I can assure you .I’ve lamped deer ,poached pheasants and netted hares ,night lined trout and dug all there is to dig .     Wouldn’t know how to do one Don but fair shout .I can’t get enough of it but some members seem to think a look out in 1976 was ok . For a hunting site there really is very little hunting content anymore .Could we please see some from the members who frequent general but darnt stray far from it .
