Yeah........nice to meet some of you guys as well.........Glen doesn't take any prisoners thats for sure Always good to meet faces from the THL and a good day was had by all everyone i think.....Just that next time i will need to drag Glen off earlier, but he certainly kept the dedicated trappers enthralled. Well........what can i say Tracey.........you look like you had a wonderful time with some really good friends and i know it meant a lot to you to go away for a few days alone.........well nearly . Good friends are hard to find but you have a few more to add to your list now.......lucky old them thats all i can say. Yes, they had tiny legs under a shield type layer.......almost invisible they were.

Anyone ever come across these things before........they keep falling through sunken light fittings of an old rectory. The black bit would appear to be the arse end as they crawl along from the other end. They are about 10 mm long and are opaque to maggoty type colour. I wondered if they may be some sort of boring beetle type larve........but open to offers. I have never seen anything like it before anyway......it is a five pence piece in the rather poor quality picture by the way.

Set them again.........then sit out of sight and wait.........you will catch the culprit eventually......what you then do to them is up to you........I know what i'd do Rolfe.

Fox...........100%...........i often find rabbit legs etc buried in mole hills.......they love burying food.

Some morons are only happy when they are destroying things........they are that thick they don't realise that it is their neighbourhood they are wrecking.........and its their parents that will be paying increased council tax to get it repaired. Those of you that followed my Rabbiting exploits will know that we were working in an orchard that just happened to have an abundant supply of apples that just wanted picking. Well after a bit of preparation the results can be seen below. Two apple crumbles, one apple pie, and one jar of apple,plum, and ginger chutney........tastes delicious with a cheese sandwich. And before you start thinking Old Rolfey has turned into a "Delia" ..........it is all the work of my dear old Mum.......who still thinks that her wayward offspring is living below the poverty line on a starvation diet. God bles

Tracey..........they always look bad to start with.......especially on Whippet/Lurcher types but they soon heal and it will shrink to nearly invisible after a short while. Rolfe.

Nah..........not sentimental and soppy Foxy.........its when you truly come alive... being at one with nature and the elements is a feeling that cannot be described in words..........you can only "feel" that warm feeling when you fully understand the beauty of the countryside. Rolfe.

Foxy.......it is a beautiful part of Northamptonshire...lovely rolling hills and and prime rabbiting country. Any rabbit caught way out hiding in the nettles........has a long run before finding safety........and most never make it...the lurchers see to that That is the view from the old Manor House........we were ferreting the steep banks and it was a sheer pleasure to be out in such wonderful surroundings. The Manor House........is now a brain injury rehabilitation centre........hence the need to remove the rabbits. Rolfe.
