    Had the last day on the big roadside hedge, not a bad day had 11 in total....gave one away to an old couple passing by so they were happy........dog done his ear today sliced a piece of it off so got home and the mission to stop the bleeding began......if you know you know wound powdered vet wrapped back and old pair of tights to stop him shaking job done

    Haven't done it for a while hit it a bit early really should of left it a bit later let a few more get out fairplay to anyone still using the trad nets I just go for the easiness of the quick set......even if the basket is a bit bulky to lug about

    Had a quick half hour out tonight on a local permission.....typically the wind seemed to evaporate by the time I got there but one drop for 3 I'll take that.....I know I know the purists on here will say "what's that quick set thing but I'm on permission not running away from keepers or farmers so dont have to go full stealth mode

    Lovely couple hours out this morning started with a Warren betweena double fence line which we purse netted and had 3 from, then moved on to some open Warren's bolted to the dog he had 3 and missed one then ferrets had hold of one.....lovely morning for 7 best of both bit of netting and some runs for the dog, can't beat it

    I know how you feel mate I was feeling it a bit.....it's not easy work with all the gear and digging amongst the hedge normally have the police out to us on this road get reported as hare coursers yeah this is a good spot as its the main road in or out of the village so a lot of farmers driving up and down they always stop for a chat and ask how we getting on this farmer lost a lot of barley to these rabbits so he's happy with the result......got to try and get a couple days on the other side of the road before the seasons out as it's just as bad

    Another nice day on the roadside hedge just mopping up what's left, they didn't want to bolt today but we managed 16 and a total of 110 off this hedge this season so a happy farmer bagged a bit more permission from a passing landowner as well so a productive day all round

    Good day out mate some nice dinners there I'm out on a roadside hedge tomorrow hopefully the rain holds off

    Nice easy mid week session ferreting some nice woodland Warren's was all done and dusted by 12.30 for 9, dogs and ferrets worked well

    Same as me yesterday I finished on 7 which is a nice day, not too many to gut and carry looks like you had a good one

    Being as it's the last day of 2025 and a beautiful frosty morning here it would of been criminal not to have a go, so bag of purse nets ferret and the dog and headed to a permission that's a few mins up the road from my front door, first warren the dog marked I had 3 in quick succession, picked up and headed to another warren for one more.....wasn't a numbers day just enjoying being out with the dog for a couple hours and a great way to see out the year hope you guys have a great new year
