  1. My Lad saluki whippet grey just turned 7 handy dog on the Warren's and on the lamp and likes a bit of squirrel shooting too
  2. One of my hobs got out last year for a week he was found curled up asleep in someone's back garden same thing someone posted on fb they'd found him......he was fatter than when he'd got out so someone's chickens or rabbit had been munched
  3. I don't normally bother reading comments if there's more than 2 pages.....this one was worth perseverance
  4. Munty bucks can be tough there solid lil deer, half the battle with them is finding one out in the open long enough when they hit cover they deffo got the advantage normally they'll go from cover to cover and thick stuff too, riddled with munty where I am hear them more than you see them but if you got a dog that works cover well you'll see plenty
  5. Good clean rabbits there
  6. Ran a few wires yesterday afternoon on some good runs, checked this morning out of 9 snares down I had 2 catches....both taken by foxes, frustrating but that's snaring, re set and hopefully I'll get a couple the fox doesn't take, think the foxes disturbing the line knocked the rabbits back in as I expected a couple more catches......no doubt now they've cottoned on to the wires they'll be back for more
  7. Yeah there's a scam page under the same name, think graham is sorting a website out to order from
  8. Fella called Graham leache on Facebook makes a version of the mk1 ferret finder does 8ft box n collar and 10ft box and collar.....the box and collars work with the originals as well the old knocker box will work with new collars and vice versa, he has had trouble with a scammer copying his page so did stop for a while
  9. Yeah not been bad here last few years enough to keep the dog and ferrets busy all season, picked up a couple new permissions as well this year with decent numbers......they always bounce back look at mixi whipped out huge numbers but they came back from that
  10. Yeah was a good day tbf if the person stopped and spoke to us instead of calling the police would be fine decent numbers on this bit of ground hopefully some good days come september bolted a lot of youngsters they'll be there for next season
  11. Had our last day ferreting last Sunday.. new bit of ground so wanted to show willing and tap it up for next season, was a good day until we had rural crime out someone reported us for hare coursing, no dogs with us as was roadside hedge, they soon left when I proved I had permission, that's it now until September hope everyone's had a good season and roll on the next
  12. I'd go for the Cross the other way around, never see the sense in breeding the sighthound out of a dog your losing speed
  13. Half the trouble is who to trust as well ain't it, got a couple lads who are decent and come out regular the lad who dropped out on me he's only been our a handful of times and dropped out twice.......I don't mind but tell me the night before so I can arrange someone else not an hour before we set to go pain in the arse but still had a nice couple hours with just me n the dog so not all bad
  14. Yeah i enjoy getting out on my own every now and then.....its just there is very little I can do on my own big hedges and big Warren's so I rely on a couple lads to give me a hand with it.....when they turn up
  15. Video from yesterday, wasn't the day I planned lad who was meant to be helping me dropped out so couldn't do the big Warren's, so we done a couple smaller Warren's, enjoy
