Great write up mate it never wares off either there's something about that rumbling and the anticipation especially watching a dog listening for them can't beat it
Lovely day today started on a new bit of ground this morning cleared 10 off some horse paddocks and finished that pretty early so went up the road to another farm I got for another 12 weather stayed dry for a change dogs and ferrets worked well for a total of 22
Another day at the bunnies today......didn't quite go as planned couple big warrens we couldn't do as the farmer had stuck the lecky sheep fence tight to the hedges so we did the bits where us and the dogs would get a shock got stuck into a few tho
Well no work yesterday due to the rain so we had a look out for an hour with the ferrets.....lost one and the ferrets bottled a couple up they didn't stick with, but we came away with a brace, keeps the ferrets fed back out tomorrow
Only under specific circumstances like extreme crop damage or humane dispatch.....you can't just go out and roll a munty over with a shotgun if it doesn't fall under those circumstances even though there non native and might be classed as a pest I believe there still covered in the deer act
He didn't get touched happens alot where ferrets still hung on to the rabbit and dogs drags it out.....always amazes me with the speed the dogs grab them without touching the ferrets.......the dog gets bit more by the ferrets than the other way round
I was considering it if I couldn't stop the bleeding......managed to stop it with a bit of pressure and some wound powder......had a look this morning and it's drying up well that old pair of tights over his head is doing the job stopping him shaking it that was half the trouble after he done it kept shaking his head.......back of my van looked like a murder scene
