  5. I think people are just under the impression that cos there small they'll be easy like lil tanks them things I've seen some bad injuries from them..

  10. Are you talking about the white dog in the pic where I'm holding them both? That one is saluki collie Whip grey.....but both white dogs can put a shift in.......neither of them are mine both belong to lads that give me a hand with the rabbiting only the brindle is mine, all 3 have there own unique styles from marking to how they work a warren and all work well together which is nice to see......tbf I know alot of lads wouldn't chose a dog with saluki in the mix for a ferreting dog but can't fault them really always put a shift in, can be a bit over keen sometimes cheers mate hope you have a

  12. Finding anyone selling a good ferreting dog is rare as hens teeth as everyone has said you'll be better off with a pup starting from scratch, most of the good dogs that are sold 9 times out of 10 will be anything but good just be buying someone's failure

  18. Cheers mate just trying to do some easy bits, I cover quite a few places so enough to get me out most weekends from September to March, keeps the dog and ferrets happy! Hope you have a good season mate
  19. Nice day today on some hedges had 16 dogs caught 6 and the rest in the stopnets/longnets

  21. Yeah was saying about getting up there with a strimmer.....got a nasty barbed wire fence to get rid of as well that's buried in the cover, the way the dogs fly through the cover the old fence was giving me the horrors so we gave it a miss
  22. Yeah the nettles are still crazy in places I'm just trying to do the easy spots first, saw a few 1/4 grown ones running about on one of my places today......tbf I've dug to youngsters in December before they never seem to stop now with the mild winters
