Lurcher has ruptured front toe ligament on glass
Moochersways replied to zak123's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
Mine went straight through one of his flexer tendons on a flint couple years ago, never had it repaired and he now has a dropped toe never been a problem......a mate of mines lurcher had a toe removed and still no issues running her, should be all good -
Went out to feed the ferrets today and one of my hobs was acting very strangely, couldn't walk in a straight line, banging into the hutch walls, rolling around ect, head tilted one eye slightly bulging, my first thoughts are some kind of stroke? Or head injury.....maybe falling down the ladder in the hutch(not a great height tho) anyone experienced anything of the like? Seemed fine yesterday when I cleaned out and fed them (on dry kibble atm) and apart from that he seemed in good condition, all the other ferrets are lively and fine, I put him down as didn't want him to suffer shame as he was o

You'll be hard pressed to find any mk3s now they stopped making them and very few come up for sale second hand! If your on Facebook there's a fella called graham leach he makes mk1 boxes and collars does 8ft and 10ft and they are pretty much the same as the originals

One of my hobs got out last year for a week he was found curled up asleep in someone's back garden same thing someone posted on fb they'd found him......he was fatter than when he'd got out so someone's chickens or rabbit had been munched

I don't normally bother reading comments if there's more than 2 pages.....this one was worth perseverance

This escalated quickly

Munty bucks can be tough there solid lil deer, half the battle with them is finding one out in the open long enough when they hit cover they deffo got the advantage normally they'll go from cover to cover and thick stuff too, riddled with munty where I am hear them more than you see them but if you got a dog that works cover well you'll see plenty

Good clean rabbits there

Ran a few wires yesterday afternoon on some good runs, checked this morning out of 9 snares down I had 2 catches....both taken by foxes, frustrating but that's snaring, re set and hopefully I'll get a couple the fox doesn't take, think the foxes disturbing the line knocked the rabbits back in as I expected a couple more catches......no doubt now they've cottoned on to the wires they'll be back for more

Yeah there's a scam page under the same name, think graham is sorting a website out to order from
-
Fella called Graham leache on Facebook makes a version of the mk1 ferret finder does 8ft box n collar and 10ft box and collar.....the box and collars work with the originals as well the old knocker box will work with new collars and vice versa, he has had trouble with a scammer copying his page so did stop for a while

Moochersways replied to Blue Dog's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
Yeah not been bad here last few years enough to keep the dog and ferrets busy all season, picked up a couple new permissions as well this year with decent numbers......they always bounce back look at mixi whipped out huge numbers but they came back from that -
