My own country England and a good day on the bunnies.....I know not the most exciting to some! But watching the dogs listen on the warren anticipating a bolt being in the right place at the right time....it never gets boring to me
-
Notice it always seems to be the working man's sports that get banned......look at the loophole the hunts had with the hunting act yet hare coursing was thrown under the bus.....same shit happening again greyhound racing but I bet horse racing will be safe, not that I would choose any of it to be banned......but there's deffo a trend there
-
Not a bad lil day today they bolted well and with only one dig which is always a bonus bolted one youngster that got through the net......think squeeze in a couple more days out on a new bit of ground just to tap it up for next season then that'll be it for us
-
Certain permissions I've not had or seen any young yet but others I have seen some running about.....hopefully all goes well saturday and none dug to but I don't think I'll get another day in after that....shame as I have a new farm that the landowners keen for me to have a go on hope you get to get your mate out for the day and fingers crossed it's not a spade day
-
Picked up a couple new farms so kept me going mate roll on September
-
Finished work early today so had a quick couple hours out with the ferrets and lurcher on a local permission.....beauty of a day nice to see blue skies and sunshine for a change! 3 small Warren's the dog marked for 4 nice rabbits......one more trip out then I'm hanging the nets up until September the dog and ferrets can enjoy there rest up they've done well for me this season

Tonnes of red kites here in Buckinghamshire/Oxfordshire they become a bit of a problem where people feed them, few people have had food snatched out there hands by them
-
Well done mate was a mild one today! Still haven't had any young ones yet normally I try to get to the end of March before I hang the nets up
-
He's saluki whippet grey......wasn't really my ferreting dog originally had him as just a lamping dog......but started taking him out on the Warren's after I lost my whippet, he does well marks, catches bolters in and out of cover........can he a bit over keen with the longnets every now and then but he gets the job done nice lil bitch she looked a nice strong one
-
Vet wrap for his carpal pads....he injured them before and they take ages to heal i wrap them now to save the hassle of them going again
-
