  1. Great looking pups as per, I hope they make the grade for you.
  2. Yep could defo happen up around me.
  3. And all to be more in control of us and know our business
  4. Great pics. Ive had a box up for 3 years with no joy. My neighbour reckoned it was because the sun was on it during the day and it would be too warm. So I moved it and have Great Tit chicks in there as we speak! They hatched yesterday at some point.
  5. Well according to my Mam her pet insurance is void if she doesn't get yearly booster. That is 100% as she had a carry on with them a couple of years ago about it, and I bollock her for getting it done when they're so cheap to buy and the fact that the yearly ones are unnecessary.
  6. Yeah it's all one big con. Like you say Walshie to go in kennels they have to be done and also to have pet insurance they need all the correct jabs etc. Corrupt from all angles.
  7. The leather seems very pricey for what it is IMO. I've used strongstuffs for the last 10 years and had no gripes.
  8. On the lamp the deer is a different animal. In the daytime is when you'll see what you've got. I'm not talking gameness, I'm talking single handed running. I seen more Bull crosses get straight lined by deer than I care to remember.
  9. Are you saying bull crosses are more suitable for taking deer than Saluki crosses Shaddy?
  10. As long as the dogs are kept warm and dry is all that matters really. I like to fluff the waxed bedding up every couple of days to air it out and change it every couple of weeks.
  11. Nice pics. What camera do you use? The shots look nice and clear.
  12. How long did u havto wait about for them to appear mate? Great pic by the way.
  13. I don't understand the talk of great for soaking urine up etc. If the dogs have a good routine their runs should stay pretty much un-soiled anyway.
  14. Waxed shredded paper is the best of all bedding without a doubt. Stays dry longer and doesn't harbour parasites like straw and hay will. I always think straw and hay make the dogs coats look dull and gives them sore eyes too.
  15. He was the hardest dog I've dug. A great temperament and a joy to own, but totally mute.
  16. The dog I mentioned earlier. He looks black but when the sun's shining you can see the tan markings underneath.
  17. Did you manage to get much done with the lurcher Dilly? He seemed pretty keen earlier in the season.
  18. That sounds identical to my dog Dilly. If you touch or squeezed the area it would bleed. I got a number of different diagnosis' from ring worm to demodectic mange to a fungal infection? I'm not sure what it was but I was glad to see the back of it.
  19. My dog had scabs around the eyebrows and nose. I tried 2 different types of anti-biotics with no change, scrubbed it with hibi scrub every day for 2 weeks, still no change. I was desperate, never affected the dog but looked dreadful. Took advice from a lad on here and scrubbed it with tcp for a week and it cleared. I'm not sure which one worked but there was no sign of change until I used the last resort.
