  1. Half solid sheet half mesh/bars for the dividers. Just so the dogs can't wind each other up all day and to prevent any accidents.
  2. Mine flashes E22 and has done for a few seasons now, still works fine. Each E is an error and the numbers nexto it all stand for different faults. Give B&F a ring they'll explain it better.
  3. I wouldn't necessarily say so mate. I've dug Wheeler, 'old' Nuttall, Gould dogs and also 'scatter bred' (workerxworker). Were they good? Yes. Were they from a family of dogs that is dug all over the place, by different men with high standards with all of the same aim with no money involved? NO. Simple as that.
  4. Forget what Ive wrote. I cant get my point across properly so it's like pissing in the wind.
  5. Fair play then mate. I was under the impression that he had added different types of blood in recent years and gone away from the original stuff?
  6. Im talking a line Bosun. A line that has been going for generation after generation for 20-30yrs. Can you honestly compare one?
  7. Come on Bosun spill the beans. Plenty of Scouse lads keep the NS stuff so they must be wrong too?
  8. For a pat on the back. Pathetic IMO. And the unforeseen damage these things do to all of our ways of life is untold.
  9. Who needs antis with threads like this? Talk about the enemy from within FFS.
  10. I hope you just never referred to 'The Holy Grail' as a book Goat?
  11. I've found the things you dig up in the mountains are mainly scratty things due to lack of food and a lot of bad weather. Each individual is different though, some take the fight to the dog and some sulk and don't want to know. It also depends on the vantage point they have within the earth. If they get in roots or on a ledge or round a tight bend they can really give the dog some cosh and then you find out what you're kenneling when the dog is getting nothing its own way.
  12. He must have done something right because there's plenty of good digging kennels based on the blood. They can't all be wrong.
  13. I've not seen any better, can't speak highly enough of them.
  14. TallyWacker can I ask what bloodline you keep? You seem to shoot down every Stevens thread with a similar response as if the bloodline failed you or you had run ins with the man himself? I'm not being funny either mate, genuine question.
  15. I agree with that Dilly. We each have limited time so why waste it, if lads kept what's good now going instead of trying to revive something that's in decline then the terrier world would be much better for it IMO.
  16. Is the Badgers book any good Lutra? Can you name a few of your favourites?
  17. I have a big book collection but it's all terrier and lurcher books. I reckon the book has had its day, the internet is slowly taking the romance out of reading a book IMO. Can't beat reading a good book but I think my generation will be the last to say that.
