I’m not knocking any of them, Danny Christie etc look pretty handy and if they want to do it, it’s up to them. I just don’t get it. I tried making the transition from kickboxing to boxing and couldn’t do it, so I know how hard it is and appreciate the skill involved, but bare knuckle never crossed my mind. That’s my neck of the woods mate. Slough’s a shit hole but you can get the shuttle to Windsor in a few minutes which is decent. The surrounding areas are nice - Marlow, Cookham, Beaconsfield etc As some of the others have mentioned, there’s loads of fishing along the M4 corridor

Yeah I think we’re doomed mate. I still find the Potter appointment a strange one. His win % stats are terrible, Brighton 31%, Chelsea 38% and 22% for us. Moyes was 44%. He reminds me of a PE teacher on the touch line. As for the players, they just capitulate. Last season when we lost under Potter it was never by more than 1 goal, we’ve gone backwards. A bloke at works son plays for the U18’s and has heard theres issues paying players wages, which I struggle to believe. Might get worse, we could end up with Mourinho.

He sounds different in every interview, his accents a bit mixed up. I remember seeing him on Rossy or Norton saying he picks ups accent and doesn’t know how he’s going to speak… whatever that means. His film Lawless is another good one
