I registered on there, made two posts, neither of them, obscene, argumentative ,or abusive in any way.One correcting Mr Gallagher, regarding dogs winning both the doubles ,and singles of the Forley Cup,as I remember, he stated Alan Sankey was the only owner to do it [with Dancer] .I said Don Southerd did it as well,[with Lady]. I was then banned.No explanation nothing. yep i also got banned for daring to have a different opinion to Darren So, it's not a site for discussion, debate and argument ? Pointless going on it !! LOL !! Cheers.

So you can see why some lads don't stop for "summer" ! Cheers Some one pays 3 quid for a tree rat? And 5 quid for a rabbit? At that price it'd be worth driving from wales!     There is another way of looking at it... Rabbits are £4.99 at my local game dealer, and go for £2.50 each in the pubs and clubs. So, some may be doing it for more than sport or because the farmer wants them to !! I wouldn't blame any one for lamping if it was helping pay their bills and keep food on their table ! Cheers.

    One lad I know took two of his track greyhounds for a walk on a local golf course and a roe lifted and they took off after it; result, one with a broken hock, the other with a broken neck ! Another lad has a stable adjoining the same course and he has had two lurchers, (one a beddy/ whippet, the other a litter sister to my bitch Delta), both break front legs when hitting bunkers as they chased rabbits..... So that's one golf course I steer well wide of !!! Cheers.

    Its common kmowledge that deerhounds have a shorter working life than other crosses. Name me one aspect of lurcher work where they excel over other other types .As stated earlier they need to be mixed with more than just greyhound. The same can be said about most crosses; name me one aspect of Lurcher work that a collie or beddy or whippet cross excel over other crosses ? You obviously doon't like Deer crosses, thats your perogative. Many others swear by them. Cheers.

    I was given a hare from a shoot, back in the 60's, that was 14lb !! Absolutely huge hare, never seen anything like it all the years I've coursed them ! A 14 - 18lb hare is the same size as a fox !! I'd love to see my Deer x running one of these huge hares, but of course it's against the law !! Cheers.

Cheers. dont think they do good workingdogs will confirm to a dog with a physique/disposition that is right or running not how long his shin bone is to his eyebrow lol think that is what they think is confirmation but were not on about that confirmation What conformation are you on about ? A running dog, be it Greyhound, Whippet, Saluki, Lurcher, whatever, will not be able to do the job it was br

    Can't see a Spaniel adding anything to a Lurcher, or a Lurcher adding anything to a Spaniel !! So a pretty pointless cross in my opinion. Lurchers have their job; and Spaniels have theirs. Obviously some one will post that they have a Spaniel/Lurcher cross that is a world beater, but I'd still not have one ! Cheers.
