No mate ,it’s a lad I know in Ireland. My pals have sent deerhounds, deer/greys and teckels over there and they’ve sent wheatons and coursing greyhounds over here. Theres some top lads over there that I’ve met and some I’m in touch with , ive been over once and hope to get over again. Cheers.

I owned a saluki that , as I’ve mentioned before , would kill pariah desert dogs; but they are cowardly curs that are only brave in a pack, but to kill an Alsatian in 10 seconds, take on and beat staffies two at a time ? I think you may be exaggerating a tad . Cheers.

My mates apbt got out and killed a collie; the police were there in minutes and shot it, but this saluki appears to have run around Hull killing dogs with impunity until it died of old age ! Cheers.

When I first stated in the game, I used to go with a pal of my older brother who was a bit of a “countryman”. Anyhow, one day we stopped at a stream running down a hill and he said “look how clear the water is, it’s safe to drink from a running stream” which we did. We went up the hill to where the stream was just a couple of feet wide, and lying across it was a dead and putrid sheep ..... Cheers.

When I was thinking about writing a book on lamping, the working title was going to be “Midnights Fruits”, but when I looked into it, it had the same connotations as “strange fruits”, so I decided it may not be suitable ! Cheers.

A court case in 1991 did indeed rule that as far as vat is concerned, Jaffa Cakes are indeed cakes ! Though why chocolate covered biscuits should have vat added, but chocolate covered cakes don’t, is beyond me ! Cheers.
