  1. Lost my terrier in an earth for 72 hours once, a horrible experience. The dog chased a fox to ground during exercise and I didn't know which earth she had gone down, no collar on either. Got her back a bit thinner, bitten and sore but not a nice experience.
  2. I think too much emphasis has been placed on what breed of dog is responsible rather than what a terrible tragedy this is

I was thinking the same thing, perhaps this is a new disease that has yet to be classified.

Toad its your perogative (spell) to breed but whether its a lurcher, terrier, gundog, sheepdog etc etc I personally wouldn't breed from it at 16 months...............

  15. Good post Ducky I fell for it hook, line and sinker, stayed at his place, read all his books over and over but began to question thing as I got older............Ditchy I must admit I thought Trog was one of his poorer books.
  16. Some attractive terriers mate, and I love the fawn coloured bull x Why not blow them out the trees with tank
  17. Well Joe, I thought i'd take one of the dogs for a mooch whilst I collected the bodies, tried squeking but nothing although I could make out a shape about 150 yards away, I walked towards it and sent the dog, he picked up a live chicken and semi-retrieved it, unfortunately the chicken was too far gone. I could live with the odd bird, but to kill them all and only eat a couple really pisses me off. Whats worse was I was indoors only 200 yards away whilst this happened
  18. Well i've been out for the last hour collecting pieces of what used to be chickens from around the paddock, only 1 left alive, 1 mortally injured 500 yards away and the rest have been either decapitated or eaten, a couple have also been buried. This all happened before darkness, and they say foxes don't need controlling
  19. Good reply wife. Looks like real good fun, never done it myself but looks like i've missed some good sport
