Without meeting the dog its impossible to detemine what type of aggression it is and human aggression is pretty rare in 6 month old dogs but I have seen it. I agree about not getting rid of a dog thats pees in the house, one of my dogs is nearly three but still sometimes pees submisivley when being stroked, although he dog has never been hit or physically reprimanded. Have I missed something as I can't see a reference to peeing in the house made by barrell??

It depends what type of nipping.....if it is a pup playing then it needs to know that nipping is unacceptable...if the dog is biting due to aggression then this is definately unacceptale. I would never put my kids in danger of being bitten, the dog would go...I have seen some nasty bites..my sister as a baby took a bite to the face from a Bearded collie, she had to have her nostril and eyelids sewn back on....would I risk this with my own kids???and anyone who would, well

I disagree, two of mine were originally kept in the house and when we decided to have kids I bought a good kennel and run and moved them out, we had no problems. At the time one was 4, the other 2. They have been outside for 5 years now with no problems. I also have a dog in the house that sleeps in a crate but can also kennel outside.

My dogs are both inside and out, although I prefer them outside most of the time. The aggression issue is tricky, is the pup play biting or really being aggressive? If its playing i'd tell it no and reprimand it, if it's serious then I agree with rocks, I would never risk getting one of my kids bitten

Well i'm chuffed, I've wanted a Nissan Navara since they came out but couldn't afford one, even secondhand. Well I need to replace my car in the new year and after discussing the best vehicle for transporting kids, dogs and luggage my wife has decided we can get a Navara.......just got to sort out the money now.

Well I have been fortunate to train dozens of different breeds and in MY opinion labs, collies and shepherds are the most easily trained and can adapt to a variety of tasks. I think a first cross shepherd or malinios would be fast enough for rabbits and if you live somewhere its legal fox too, although I wouldn't have thought it would have enough speed for deer or hare

Not got thta many photos but managed about 20 rats in one day. Best days we average about 20 feral pigeons and a few rabbits.

Try good old will power :11: I was on 40 a day since school and tried unsuccessfully to stop several times. Got married in 2000 and decided that I would have one more ciggy then quit, and it worked....apart from a drag on one last year that made me feel sick :11:
