I think its ridiculous and laughable but folk use the "If only you were closer routine". The right dog is the right dog regardless of distance, you have to feed, kennel, work and live with a dog for perhaps 15 years so surely only an idiot would worry about the distance spent collecting the best pup available?

Chael pushed the pace and thats why the fight was an exciting one, nobody can dispute Silva's abillity's, if he pushed the pace a bit more in his fights he would be a much more exciting fighter instead of a boring counter fighter. I forgot in which fight it was but he was told by the UFC managment in between rounds to stop what he was doing and push the pace he apoligised to the crowd afterwards for his disgracefull performance even though he won! Fact is counter fighting and fighting to win on points sucks big time and bores the fcuk out of me. I think was after the Thales Leites fight

I agree GSP is in danger of being known as a decision specialist. I'd sooner watch a fighter going for a win than a fighter trying to get a decision on tactics. Much more exciting as a fan imo, i can appreciate skill but i dont like to see fighters aiming for a points victory before the first bell even rings.........People like Anderson Silva/Jon Fitch/GSP all use their skills to win a fight, rather than finish one. Thats why i like seeing fighters like Griffin/Henderson etc

I think anyone listening to him is a mug tbh. No, i don't think he likes his film, surely no f****r does, there shit. He has done nothing in martial arts, competition wise. Should Chael Sonnen give Van Damme or Jet Li a call? A top level MMA athlete needs to be well rounded, grappling, boxing, wrestling, jui jitsu etc etc, not some fat b movie actor who has borrowed his hair from the count in seaseme street........ I think Sonnen is the funniest man in MMA, i think too many people take his comments far too seriously. In the last fight Sonnen battered Silva for 4 and a half rounds and lost to a triangle choke. Personally i would like to see Sonnen finish Anderson Silva in style, i cant remember a fight since the Franklin fights (apart from Sonnen) where Silva was interesting..................
