  1. What members really need to be aware of Aaron is more then capable of sending his own explicit photos, eh Aaron I always remember it as the days my retinas died
  2. I class Aaron as a friend and was actually at a show with him the day he purchased Spike, he was tied to the back of the family car and the owner explained why he was selling the dog and it had nothing to do with any faults the dog possessed. Spike was a typical 4/5 month old pup, he was greeting everybody and other dogs in typical puppy manner and the fact is somedogs are a handfull and over the top, its their nature. I also know Aaron loves his dogs and no expence or time spent with the dog would of been wasted, i saw Spike develop into a big powerfull dog and he saw Aaron shortly after he

  8. I love the romantic notion of the lurcher feeding the family but can i ask, and this is probably better aimed at lurcher owners who kept them a few years ago. Have any of our members actually genuinely used a lurcher to help them through tough times, by putting food on the table and perhaps the game dealers/butchers trays......
  9. I always like to take my time entering a dog to give the best possible chance and i loathe the chop and chage merchants. Five minutes is hell of a long time, especially for an 11 month old pup, and at 11 months thats still what it is, as others have said, many variables including fitness etc and im sure somebody with much more expeience than me will add to the thread......
  10. Dotty is that picture been photoshopped as it clearly shows there are two people out there, admitadly one is a child who are of shrooms diminiutive stature
  11. I will not fail nor faulter I shall succeed. My perception is altered I do believe. Faith is so strong now nothing will bar my way. From conviction no fiction this is my day. I can move, move, move any mountain.

  13. As with any other breed introduced into the melting pot the quality and temperament of the bull is of paramount importance, there are a lot of crap bull lurchers out there as any bull available is thrown into the mix expecting it to be good because its a "bull cross" I've got an old boy here who is without doubt the easiest dog of any breed or cross i have owned, he was a good working dog, but bombproof around any dogs, livestock and loves kids. Some are far from laid back and require experience, a firm hand and keeping on top of...... P.S. strong stuff, i somehow feel responsible for yo

  17. i agree! cant turn, no wind, cut easy, headstrong, defo not any brain, strong thats it, beddys do same job as a mix. jmo. but i never seen a good one yet. for all you that own one. a clever dog doesnt get bit back. mines 11 year old still could do what anyones one here could do, hes a sal, grey, beddy, mix. good on long ears, on the bushy tails, on the big stuff, and can fill the freezer up with rabbits. Loadsa mates went to wales buying first x bulls, off so called good lines. Theyre crap. my old dog showed em up every time, alright for one bushy, then cut to pieces getting blood all on my se

  23. Your better off finding someone who has a litter from working parents, chances are if they are "known" breeder the stock ain't worth a carrot anyway..............
