In my old house i often heard funny noises from the spare room, it came to a head one sunday morning when i was making coffee and heard something coming down the stairs, this pale white apparition came to the foot of the stairs and muttered "milk, two sugars please", Wilf really needs to work on his tan.......

  12. i agree! cant turn, no wind, cut easy, headstrong, defo not any brain, strong thats it, beddys do same job as a mix. jmo. but i never seen a good one yet. for all you that own one. a clever dog doesnt get bit back. mines 11 year old still could do what anyones one here could do, hes a sal, grey, beddy, mix. good on long ears, on the bushy tails, on the big stuff, and can fill the freezer up with rabbits. Loadsa mates went to wales buying first x bulls, off so called good lines. Theyre crap. my old dog showed em up every time, alright for one bushy, then cut to pieces getting blood all on my se

  16. First of all i sincerely hope that John is in good health and thats not the reason the workshop is closed. My dad purchased a kennel from DD in early 2009 and we drove to the show held there to collect it, John and his team were very helpfull and dismantled the kennel at the show and helped us load it onto a trailer, the kennel was excellent and well priced, i also purchased a triple terrier box in early 2010 which again was well built and delivered promptly. Around the same time i ordered a double kennel for home and was less impressed, four delivery days were given and no kennel was delive

  19. At the end of the day, whatever cross you buy, YOU are the one who feeds/kennels/works and is responsible for maintaining its health, so aslong as your happy who gives a fig what anyone else thinks. I'm sure im no different than anyone else in saying im proud of my dogs and enjoy working them........... artic, you are quite correct, saluki blood often introduces superb tight feet, BUT iv'e never seen a bull cross reared coreectly with feet so bad they couldn't run and catch............
  20. But if rabbits are your only legal quarry surely a collie/grey will give you enough stamina and speed...As i said its all down to personel preference, i personally think a bull lurcher, in the majority are calmer than wheaten or collie crosses. In my opinion far too many people assume bull lurchers are only capable of being point and slip merchants, i have owned and know many that are good ferreting dogs, lampers and more than capable of using their nose....
  21. You show me any lurcher that nails every fox it runs on darklord! take it you never been out on the fox "pre ban" and if you have or had your telling me your dogs nailed every single one you run on? if so your a liar!. Its not just about catching stuff its watching the dogs work n run.seen the dvd your on about and yeah they miss afew but there are also some good runs on there too. WHO SAYS MY DOGS NAIL FOX PRE BAN EVERYTIME BUT NO BULL CAN NAIL EM EVERYTIME LOOK AT THE WRECKIN KREW DVD ITS EQUIVELENT IN SIZE OF A WHIPPET PAIRED UP ON A RATS AS THEM BIG USELESS THINGS PAIRED UP ON FOX AND

  23. Spent 8 years working at a factory in Hyson Green, prpoer shit hole, we had security for women working overtime as they got abused by prostitutes and their pimps, had our wages van shot up and robbed, saw assaults and robberies, awful place....... I had a shitty job that involved knocking on doors and asking for charity donations, I hated it but was desperate for money. 3rd shift was Hyson Green, I was threatened, offered drugs all sorts. Every door I knocked on I was expecting to get stabbed! A friend from Bullwell I know phoned me while on the shift, about digging the following day, I
  24. The apbt was by far my favourite breed, my first after school job back in 1987 when i was 14 was walking two dogs and a bitch, not all together i must add. They were the first in my area and been imported from Ireland and i was facsinated after reading so much about them. I must admit at the time to feeling very honoured to be walking these amazing animals and went straight round after school and spent most evenings walking these dogs before going home and walking my own dog. I remember looking into getting my own pup around 1990 then all the horrific attacks were front page news and so i n
