    A greyhound put to a 7/8 greyhound 1/8 collie, if thats what im reading is a waste of time, may aswell buy a pure greyhound pup imo...... Be better off putting it to a collie lurcher with a proven track record, far too many folk get hung up on speed in the lurcher, it needs enough but there are far more important attributes, strike, feet, hunting ability, its as much use as a tit on a boar if the dog is fast enough but dont catch...............

    There are plenty of forms of hunting that i either dont like or wouldnt partake in but i dont beleive in telling others not to do it, hare drives always make me uncomfortable, to me it should of been a dog behind a hare weeding out the sick, elderly and unfit, allowing the best to breed, but now its illegal its irrelavent..............

    Back in the day when it was legal a dog that tried to make the catch as soon as possible and transfered to a throat hold and minimised the damage to the meat of suffering to the quarry, nowdays i'll stick this side of the law and hunt bunnies.......

    Tbh far too many have been to mine for dinner, as im a superb cook!!!!! stabba and cheeky have had a few meals at mine BUT i do need some notice to save up for the ingredients as stabba eats like jabba the hut after a month on the cabbage soup diet. Stabba/cheeky/wilf/bogger/jeppi/wag/IanB/strongstuff/bosun/brummy/hedz/bullxryno/6pack/lurchergirrl, i'd also allow stewie/jryipp and staffs riff raff to butle and park the cars......I would also invite Darcy as we could dine alfresco under his beak if it rains........

    Well this forum is all about opinions, mine is only a tool would allow an 8 month old pup to sire a litter and only a complete moron would want a litter from a unproven PUP!!!!

    Trixie is NOT nippy!!! My serious reply would be why do you want a terrier, are the lurchers working dogs and are they living together in the house, lurchers and terriers are hard work unless you are intending to graft a terrier i would suggest it isnt worth the hassle....

    Only ever bought three adult dogs, paid between 200-300 and one didnt suit me, the other two were everything they said on the tin. Wouldnt sell any of mine, IF i decided for whatever reason to rehome any of my dogs(that are working) it would be gratis, money and working dogs dont mix well, given a couple of dogs away to mates for free. Far too many chancers/messers and inbred yokels selling dogs willy nilly that in truth are a bag of shite and should be fertiliser.....

    May i suggest a photography course? Or at least please try to take a photo when the dog is looking at you and your hands aren't shaking as you havent had your third can of tennents special brew that morning. At the end of the day it would only be guesswork so unless you know the breeding just work and enjoy it.......and lay off the white lightning before digging the camera out...

    Its nothing to do with the issue of stamina, when the dog is working next season you will see his stamina level, at the minute all you have is a pup that isnt interested in tear arsing around like a numpty, sooner have that than a headbanger...
