    I'd wager a lot of dogs will kill the odd fox throughout the season (when legal) but it takes a special dog to kill them in NUMBERS. Lets face it though, the specialist coursing dogs are just that, and bred to perform another task with skill

    Thank you very much for the replies, its purely because i have an old dog i would like to have a litter from, he mated a bitch last year but she didn't take, this could be because the old fella is firing blanks as he is 11. The bitch i would like him to cover wont break down until the spring so its all theory at the moment but it would mean storing the semen straws. This is my dog of a lifetime im sure so it would bother me not to have something to keep from him in my kennels. I'll look into your information guys, but gnasher if it is in the £3k range it wont happen

    Was just thinking the same wilfred, perhaps mushrooms/snails/wormery. What about goat rearing for meat, i would suggest rattites but they would cost more than £5 start up, Ostrich meat is big business, and emus and rheas are also a good investment........

    Thanks she's kept in the house, she will jump fences etc with a lot of encouragement from us, but if she see's something to chase ie rabbits and a fence is in the way and the only way is over she won't jump it she just gives up, this has been a god send in one way as we have a lot of deer around here, it's frustrating as i know as a lurcher she can probably jump great heights with ease!! she's not a big dog only 22ins tts, but that shouldn't matter should it?? Make it fun for the dog...........if they've got a fave toy take it out with them and throw it over the fence,start off with a hei

    Has anybody got any experience of artificial insemination in dogs? Do all vets/some/none store semen stores for a price? Can they check fertility and assist on insemination? Any ideas on the storage costs etc? All advice appreciated..........
