    The wiring can be suspect sometimes, just take the cigar plug off and wire in straight to the battery.........

    I occasionally "chuck" in whole rabbits for the dogs to eat, i just ensure im upto date with my worming schedule, its never affected my dogs retreiving them whilst hunting though

    I have only ever owned one Plummer, bitch out of Summerbird and Rocky, about 91 i got her, great dog above ground and ratting, never owned better, she also bolted a fair few in pipes but was never dug too, she also died young of suspected meningitis. Personally i see a lot of Plummers at shows nowdays and the are huge, up on the leg and barrel chested, nothing like the dogs i saw in the early 90's, is this a line?????

    Had this with a few pups, one was so scared of traveling it would bolt for its kennel when taken near the truck, but ALL came to love car journeys. Stop taking the pup in the car for the moment, i used to feed the pups in the boot and build that up to having the engine ticking over whilst feeding and then short journeys with a fun exercise bit after, then gradually build up the distance.....

    Be good to keep this in the public eye, put some pressure on the scum that stole her and see if once, just for once we can get a result, get some justice, get the lads dog back and get a name on here so we can highlight and blackball the scum involved......

    Spot on, most peoples idea of a guard dog is a liability that will eat any intruder, to me that is a cull, a good guard dog, or i prefer the term protection dog is a dog that has the ability to adapt to a hostile confrontation yet be sociable around strangers and in public. Must admit i dont know how much good malis are going for, i was paying £500 for a imported pup back in the mid 90's, a godd pup now in this country from imported stuff is around £750, not much more than show bred shite.........

    Not with a good shepherd mate, a good malinois is no better than a good shepherd drive wise, BUT the shepherd is on the whole easier to control and calmer and more relaxed away from the training field.............

    This is a clip from the line of shepherd i kept and worked............... May i also add there are a whole lot of shit malinois out there, same as any other breed, GSD's may not look as impressive, but does that really count in protection training, on the sports field there are no points for speed and in real life it means nothing, its about drive and control.............

    Worked with plenty and my advice is don't get one, imported malinois needs constant mental stimulation and wont be satisfied either sitting in a kennel or being on a chain, they are good service dogs when they can have the edge taken off their mental and physical hyperactivity. They are NOT a beginner breed, and by that mean you had better have a a LOT of obedience and behavioural experience. They are too much dog as just a guard dog, the devil makes work for idol hands and you will end up with a liability on your hands...............
