Your battery will be fine in the rucksack without anything wrapped around it, just wipe it all down after a session. It does no harm that im aware of to let a battery run down before charging it, i just stick mine on charge before i am due to go out. And the lamp and cable will be fine in all weathers

Do you donate at all???????? The site needs upgrades every so often, its just the way it works, too many folk piss and moan, many of us donate £5 a year, how many hours a week do we use it???? What else could you get for a fiver that you get as much out of? I think its especially ironic if you make a comment about being listened to if you donated £100 when you don't dip your hand in your pocket for a fiver for 12 months.................
