    get your self one who likes hunting ..... my girlfriend as done most types of hunting and been and done all quarry with the lurchers nothing fazers her and she will be out on a few digs with me if the terrier works

    my dog will sit on hand signals (and stays cause to me if a dog is told to sit it shouldnt move till told) will go left or right on hand signals .. come in to the whistle , jump when told , also sit lie and roll over when told and hunt up when told to "go find" but id only give my self maybe a 6/10 because the dog trained himself most of the time .. now with terriers id give myself a 1/10 because i just aint got the patients to work with the little runts lol got one now who will sit and walk to heel when on his lead or chain soon as he is off he listens for the first 10 minutes or so then

    9 month old one or two runs if its a small framed dog then leave it off till 12 month old 12 month hold if its a heavy framed dog ... 18 month old before givin really testing runs or teeth thats my way and works for me

    get the cemenet mixer and a couple of friends round with wheel barrows believe me it will be a hole lot easier and should work out cheaper

    1 bag of cement to 2 bags of sand and 3 bags of stones then add water till its right probably be cheaper getting it ready mixed and it certainly would be easier or .4 cement .8 of sand .11 of stones (dont know if you can buy cement sand and stones in cubic metres)

    30ish rabbit 6 hare and 4 fox ... very poor season for some but ok for where i was lamping ...only reason i remember is i took one hare a month for the pot lol

    its the same at all the shows over here ... newtownards show last year judge picked the dog he bred as champion lurcher ... not been to one show this year because i just couldnt be arsed with the shite thats spouted and the fact the showing is clicky and the racing you might as well be racing against full greyhounds there bred back to grey that much

    does it matter what way the dog is bred as long as it does the job... and why should people care what other people are running... best bull x ive seen upto yet is a 21 and half inch bitch and she will do multiples in a night if you put the quarry in front of her she is bull x greyhound but just shows you size doesnt always matter ...

    your dog must have a very low prey drive if the a shaking light will get him to pull up maybe he is just sh!t full stop.... but you will never know as you'll never get to see him run lol

    one method i thought of was a swift kick to the balls ..... but couldnt use that method on a bitch break sticks seems a good idea to me but i dont personally have one and dont really have the need for one with the dog i have ...

    big skull in northern ireland only the organised coursing EVENTS are banned .... still allowed to hunt them with your lurcher look on the countryside alliance ireland website
