Chris agree 100%, so why would a lad bring on a pup for for 15 months or so and expect the pup to a tough job single, thats the part I dont understand, Any dog man worth his weight would never chance to ruin a pup in such a manner. Maybe some people just can't get out with an experienced fox dog ... Knew I couldn't when I started mine . Now I'm lucky to know a couple of lads who have good fox dogs which I could get my pup started with or I've got my own older dog

No My point is a single handed dog means it will kill a fox on it's own it don't matter how many it will do one after another .

To me single handed means just that wether it be 1 fox or 5 .

Entered my dog on his own at 2 yrs old but I knew he was ready for one . Wee pup I have now will probably get entered with the old dog but we'll see

What ever magnet you go for get a set of Hypa flaps pigeons for it , friend of a friend was shooting using just a magnet with Hypa flaps and no decoys and you should of seen them coming in . We use a 2 arm one and does good for us we don't have a speed control or on off switch as it broke so just wired direct to battery which is a 12v 17amp one .

A plg (car ect) tyre as to have at least 1.6mm of tread and a commercial vehicle as to have at least 1mm tread . Some people will try and say it's 3mm it's not this is just an advisable limit when to change the tyre..

I got asked to keep any foxes that the lurcher gets (still legal here in NI) for a boy to feed is hawks during moult as a boy who he knows does this ! Wouldn't like to be the one gutting and skinning one of the smelly bstards lol

My cabinet was fitted before the feo came out , did check it was bolted in with all 4 bolts and that she couldn't pull it off the wall . Over here we don't have sgc everything as to be on fac even air rifles

Couldn't really give tips mine went so easy , feo was only in my house for about ten minutes , I think it helped I'd been shooting with a friend regulary and I had plenty of land.

She is doin grand not as big as the 2 pups I know of looks like she is gonna be a smallish bitch but if she tackles a fox she'll do for me . I'll try and get pics up of her If I can work out how through this phone

I snapped 2 belts in one day when I was racing luckily the engine was a non interference engine so I was lucky

All the garage will probably say is it must of been a faulty belt take it up with the belt manufacturer .

Why is it the garages fault? Belt can snap for a variety of reasons your best bet would be speak to the garage and see what they say

beardies can be head strong .. .the one we have here seems to work with you not for you , and if he dont have enough work he will create work , (he will drop a rabbit then nudge it with his nose to get it running then re chase and catch it if he isnt out enough )
