I grew up around dogs like some of these old pics. And they are still around, I can think of 3 of similar types, working on farms and small holdings around here. They are just farm bred, good dog to good dog. with beardie, border, terrier and labrador in the mix. basically a hairy farm cur, that will shift stock and guard a yard i seen a real nice old style lookin collie , used to move cattle about , turns out it was a 3/4 collie 1/4 lab .. it could shift and work like hell , got me thinking when did collies become a set breed and not just cur to cur ..

why ? Something different and gives us the chance to get lurchers like the old mick douglas dogs that used to be up this way Using beardie or picardy should get the same results imo..

that stuff aint any good mate! avoid it if possible!! well i beg to differ , know loads of sheds , garages and barns with it on the roof and there aint no condensation problems with them ...

Ten acres is feck all really when trying to make a living off it (crops ect).. with it not being your own ground makes it harder aswell .. Horse gallops are a good money maker if there done right and kept in good order , i know of one that made 25 grand in its firt year ...

My dog keeps me happy ,he as loads of wee flaws and many people wouldnt kennel him , but i like him and he is a pleasant dog to be around

180 quid ... its a simple job on them, no special tools required , lock the cam and crank up with a M, 8 and M10 bolt .. most mechanicly minded people would be able to do it

Most dog couriers will want you to have pet passports even if there going to the north ... And it all depends where in England the pups are coming from to which courier would pick them up

Said dog won races against purpose bred racing lurchers , not bad for a mutt with little more than half running dog in it Some dogs are born freaks... Do you know what was in it? bull/grey x beddy/whippet/wheaten/grey... he was a freak he just covered ground like hell .
