  1. My dogs are my house dogs. I don't have the terrier anymore but my dogs have always lived in the house.

I am sure you are just perfect Thank you IL. I'm far from happy with myself at the moment, but i'm doing something about it. I don't want to do anything daft like stave myself to size zero but I do want to shift some weight! Kay, I know exactly what you mean. I'm like a yo yo but i'm also too easliy led to the chocolate!

Whats your definition of a fat girl though? I've never been a real skinny girl, i'll always be curvy (unlike my sister who stays a size 8 ) but I keep myself fit what with the dogs, a 6 year old, riding and going to the gym and my weight still goes up and down. At the moment its more than i'd like but I prefer being curvy than staight up and down like my sis!

    Way-hey!!!!!

    Congratulations to you both!
  5. Yes I think ColliexGrey too but sometimes I see Saluki in him aswell and Bedlington has been mentioned so i'll never really be sure. He's very fast, too fast for his own good sometimes! All of mine are rescues, both of my greys came from a rescue I help with although my black dog came as a foster in October and never left. Griff is hard work, he'd obviously had some fairly rough treatment in his early months but he's a cracking dog and for all his faults i'd never part with him!
  6. My boy. I've no real idea of his breeding as he is a rescue but he's keen and I want to try and get more done with him I just need to sort out his little problem of going totally deaf to me at times.
  7. When my dad offered to take one of his orphan lambs into my daughter school we were told it was against health and saftey and the teacher stuck her nose up at it. My daughter is quite open about the fact that she goes hunting at weekend etc and they really don't like it!
  8. I have two. The bitch I have is a cow, she'll eat anything she catches, like Jenny's dog, that includes cats. The new boy is just starting to realise what rabbits are after not even making it to the track for not chasing. I don't know if he'll be able to be persuaded to bring live to hand or even to not mutilate his catch but i'll have a go. I was offered money for him yesterday at a point to point but i'll not be parting with him.
  9. The Countryside Alliance do a really good education pack, i'd send you mine but I can't find it. I had it sent out when I did my A level Geography. There was a good video in it aswell as some useful information sheets and if I remember rightly it was sent out fairly swiftly.
  10. I left secondary school in '97 and as a treat our science teacher let us watch a LACS video. I asked if I could show the other side of the argument and let the class see a video from the countryside alliance and guess what the answer was... He threatened to get me chucked out of exams! Nice to see that teaching methods have changed. On any other subject the teachers have to keep their own politics out of the subject matter and the kids would be encouraged to form thier own opinions, why on earth is hunting any different!
  11. I would've thought in a sport that is target for bigotted and narrowminded comments that some people might be a little more accepting of what people choose to do with thier own lives.
  12. There would be broken bones if those things came anywhere near this house! Not my daughters mind! They do look bloody good fun though!
  13. Well I love my sleep but there are some things i'd forsake it for.
  14. I'd certainly let them thaw out. Personally i'm always a bit careful about feeding fish if there are any bones as I don't know how likely little bones like them are to cause problems. I'm sure someone else can be of more help.
  15. There is a way of of doing things Maltenby...
  16. I have gay friends of both sexes and my daughter also spends time with them. Why is it such a travesty if a gay couple kiss in front of a child? They are doing what is natural to them. Would you be the same if it were a straight couple? Obviously there is a limit in was is suitable for a young child to see but that applies to both gay and straight couples, I wouldn't tolerate crossing the line from either. As far as i'm concerned live and let live. So what if gay people hunt, they are the same as us and everyone has different preferences, why should being gay be such a taboo anymore.
  17. Chance'd be a fine thing!
  18. Thats just plain inconsiderate behaviour! When i'm out I trot on until I can find a suitable passing place. However some car drivers act like complete pricks when they see horses on the road too, it works both ways...
  19. My daughter Tiegan letting a friend practise some photography skills. On a walk in Surrey. On the beach with my ex track bitch.
  20. F*cking Stonking..! I've missed most of the match as I was getting wet at the point to point but my mate kept me updated and i'm exceedingly happy..! Best of luck to the Welsh later, i'll be cheering them on!
  21. Yep, Good Luck Wales!
  22. I've always found it very odd that the McCanns were never charged with at least some sort of neglect. That is exactly what they are guilty of! Especially when there was a babysitting service available for them to use. If the situation was turned around and it was Shannon that went missing in the same situation as Madeline the other children would have probably been removed and the mother facing lord knows what charges. In my mind, a family holiday is just that, you do things as a family. The fact remains that there are still two young girls, and many more children and young people
