    SO HAPPY

Congratulations! Always good news but especially so when you think you can't have children. Hope the pregnancy goes well.
  2. Chichester (Brinsbury) College isn't as good a college as it used to be. 20 or so years ago Brinsbury was one of the leading agri colleges in the country but its not that anymore. I know one or two people that have done Gamekeeping there and I have done an Equine course but if I could've relocated i'd have gone to Sparsholt. Sparsholt and Plumpton are far better agri colleges that Brinsbury in my opinion.
  3. Sorry to hear your news.
  4. We've had hail, earlier on today but theres been no word of storms.
  5. I would love to take you up on that offer but at the moment I don't have a hope. My finances are dire! I doubt you'll still have it when I have the money to buy an SLR but thank you for the offer.
  6. Should have done really but we all knew who they were even though they were still hiding behind balaclavas. The moniters we have out with us do a good job of keeping the anti's on thier toes.
  7. We didn't see much to be honest, the anti's were out in force blocking tracks etc so it was a bit frustrating!
  8. Scotland thoroughly deserve this win. England's game has been shocking i'm sad to say and if that wasn't bad enough, even though Jonny hasn't had a good game I can think of a million players i'd rather replace him than bloody Hodgson! Performing monkey's play better than him!
  9. There weren't any of the bloody things when I took the dogs out in the mornings. Can be a bit hairy getting to and from the farm on that little road leading down to the beach, lucky I can reverse my car into passing places although it still sports a dent from where it had a argument with a tree stump in one of the banks! I love Talland, that part of my family have farmed there for years.
  10. Went out for a little wander with the local foxhound pack today. The weather wasn't very nice but we went to the meet and followed for a while until we met the joyous creatures trying to stuff up the day for us. Didn't get many pictures, and they aren't great but heres what I did take.
  11. Totally agree. I said exactly the same thing. Its very sad that this little girl has been virtually forgotten after 3 weeks. My thoughts to her family and I hope sincerely that she is found safe and well.
  12. I wouldn't mind having that view from my doorstep!
  13. Talland Bay. I spent a hell of a lot of time in Charlestown, close friends of my parents lived there. He still has the cottage but lives in St Austell with his partner now.

    cruffs

I don't watch Crufts anymore. The KC standards have become so far removed from what the breed should be I doubt that many of the dogs shown could do the job they were originally bred for. Look at KC Bassets and Beagles, they are totally different to the ones you see bred into hunts and I know which I prefer.
  15. Apparently the membership numbers for LACS stand at just 4500. I suspect the RSPCA has a far greater number of supporters and donaters though and although some of them probably aren't against hunting because the organisation as a whole is anti hunting they get classed as anti hunting too.
  16. Both myself and my daughter are members of the CA. One organisation would be great in theory. It seems to me that there is a fair bit of 'infighting' between different disciplines. I don't know about other organisations but the CA certainly have been accused of not doing enough to support the likes of shooting and fishing and concentrating more on hunting. Will there ever be an organisation that can keep every lover of country sports happy?
  17. I am. I support English rugby through and through. Its quite a task at times!
  18. Not likely i'm afraid!
  19. Gorgeous photos, especially the last one. I love Cornwall, spent loads of time there as a kid. I took my daughter last summer to stay with some relatives that farm there. What area are you in Tis?
  20. If I remember rightly they were about £75 or so.
  21. It should be a good game. Good luck to both sides, may the best team win. Obviously i'll be supporting England, I might have to listen on the radio as i'm out with the foxhounds tomorrow rather than actually going to our early kick off game.
