    I disagree. The crow most certainly is not a solitary bird. They do come to decoys and do roost in groups. Yes there are some solitary individuals but that's because they don't have any friends and yes they do not nest in a colony but when ever they want they will congregate to feed together or generally just be nasty to what ever they fancy.

    If the the forearm fits easily when assembled it's not putting any sideways thrust on the barrel...that's good. If how ever it takes some forcing it could be pushing the barrel to one side.?

    Bore sight it with the rings one way then turn the rings around and see if it changes things. Had to do that a few times! Is the base symmetrical? If so try turning it around. Failing that is the forehand and forehand iron putting a side loading on the barrel?

    Just took this crow at 100 with a hyper velocity.

    High velocity isn't to bad on windy days. The shorter flight time can shave a little bit of windage off a shot and the wind stops the noise echoing around some.

    Weird isn't it, they do in mine. Might be a bad batch. Many a producer can turn out a bad batch once in a while.

    Gout is stopping me but I did get out first light and got some squirrels. I could hear pheasants and longed to be hunting them with a muzzleloader but can't with this foot.

    When I tried the Norma in my Marlin they were trash! I'm reluctant to try them again but I've never had any issues with the new rws field line ammunition. I've always admired cci products and eley. Federal ammo is good but I don't think they do a sub sonic. I've gone off Winchester now but the laser is good.

    I tried some cci Monday in the little 457 and the odd one was super. Don't matter none really.

    I loaded some fmj in a 308 backwards for rabbit shooting at subsonic levels. Worked just fine but a smaller case would of been better.

    I remember the whisper coming out as a kid and immediately got it. Yes sir, I never understood why the mid bores were never popular over here but then again there is a very small mind set towards firearms by a: the masses and b: PC Plod!

    I had not been shooting this place for long and it had a cracking pool and it was stuffed with ducks. It had trees around it and I thought I would make a blind and wait for them to come in. Had teal and mallard. A bag full with my air rifle then one day I was about in thick fog and approaching the pool when up went a whistle and the shooting started! I never knew a shoot had the pool and feeding the duck?. Oops.

    Avian flu keeps popping around the country on intensive farms. Especially after migratory birds pass over.

    I've used lots of fmj on critters and had no problems.?

    I have taken muzzleloaders on beaters days for several seasons. Did perfectly well.

    Ahhr but that the beauty of the mid bores. They don't have to blow everything up.
