I've done that but usually after a year they start slipping.
I've used tea and meths before but they slip too.
One of my longer lasting ones was via black powder.
What a great laugh guys ?
Now if I may....alls looking good with the rifle.
I tested it yesterday and its impressive to say the least. Just need a fox to blood it proper. It seems to like the 20gn ammo and it seems to be settling down barrel wise.
Today though I took the 22 out this afternoon....its the first time I have two identical rifles in different calibres that fit me and shoot sweetly off hand.
Ended the damp afternoon with 12.
Now please, keep babbling nonsense and especially show and tell us more about that island Gav.
What's yer favourite whisk
Watched them arrive at night before now and as you say, first moon in November. They've been so knackered I've been able to catch them to have a look at them.
I've noticed it can be later in November if there are strong westerly winds on the first moon.
Edger brothers lost it. They've gone down hill!
I got a 457 in 22 and love it so much I traded my 452 in 17hmr for a new 457 in 17hmr only it had issues!
Over the years I've had to fix new rifles from Remington, Winchester, Savage , BSA and Wiehrach.
Just how it is now, and it will only get worse. Accountants are running industry now, not engineers!
I have got it trued up now. I know I shouldn't have to but I knew what to do and being use to fixing stuff just got on with it.
Casually rested it's running 1" groups at 100 . Time is needed now to let it prove itself or otherwise.
It shoots great off hand which is important to me.
