  2. Had them trotting past me while crow shooting this weekend. They are full of love right now, nothing else matters!
  3. Bet that hare is one you've shot at before ?
  4. Think I have arthritis in my right heel, if I do a walk now I'm soon in agony. It is very depressing not being able to do what I have all my life!
  5. Her time will come. Can't get them all, besides, keeps me driven.
  6. I don't mate sorry but yeah, wise choice sir ?
  7. Say hi to slinky, zoom in. Told you she was still about! Smart little fox.
  8. Wow, and I thought I was out early. I love the elements but the cold makes my skin worse. Still have to be out there though. Nice carcass prep ?
  9. 23 for 50 shots ?. To be honest I did do a few volley fires! All empties picked up and from this morning and others old ones!
  10. Cycles everything from 24g to 36g so far.
  11. Well I was out before light and I saw three foxes, one was slinky, just a shape running across a field. Then I saw another in the same area. Then a couple of miles away one stepped out on me but I failed to get it with the Franchi. If I had not stopped to pee I would of been much closer ?. I was good though, the hares behaviour told me something was going on. Then there was the jackdaws mobbing it in the next field all giving me clues. It was a grand morning to be out.
  12. It's a Frabchi al48. I have some spot for them. A simple long recoil action. Quite light and not chunky.
  13. I didn't go looking for pastry but did go looking for crows with an auto I was testing.
  14. Think the issue with muck is due to slurry and run off into water courses. Most farms are slurry based over traditional muck. Trad muck is good. Slurry not so good. Some inject it under the turf which is better.
  15. Alliant powders are not more toxic at all. Some nonsense flies around clubs still I see! Anyway, bullseye is best in pistol length barrels. Redot, Greendot, Hero and bluedot are all good in carbine. Hodgdon clays range of shotgun powders are good too.
  16. Yeah, wasn't aiming for there though ?
  17. I couldn't trust a squirrel that close to my nuts!
