    Can you use a 30/30 on squirrels, yes you can.

    For a start you are looking at the wrong spring. The good news is that you have to fit a lighter spring under the weight adjuster. The bad news is that you can not remove the original spring from the front. You have to tare the unit down to get it out. That in volved drifting a pin out of the cheap trigger body casting. You must support the casting with a block of something with a hole drilled in it for the pin to migrate into. I used a plastic block. It is definitely worth doing though. But don't recommend #1/2 for field use. There must be some YouTube videos on it by now.

    I don't know any experts. In fact I try and avoid them, they scare the crap out of me! Ex, as in unknown and pert as in erect nipple!

    Late October was the earliest for me but have heard a dog fox barking regularly. Think he is lonely cos I've had all his girls! Not seem them rubbing saplings yet, have you?

    I heard of a struggling cow calving in the night and the calf nose was chewed off. I never saw it but had no reason to doubt their word. I have seen them going around eating calf muck. Rabbits are scarce here and any overpopulation is going to force the fox and badger to desperate moves.

    Stav, I refuse to believe you only just realized people are idiots. I realised that decades ago, even before mongbook and WhatsApp! Its the reason I go out of my way to avoid speaking to them because you just know they gonna lie or say something stupid and then you gotta go along with their lies or act as stupid as they already are.

    Dawn raid on the crows this morning. There was not many on the maize stubble yesterday when my granddaughter and I set the blind up. I managed to get 34 I think, lost some and for about 40 cartridges which isn't bad for me. The new technique was my granddaughter's idea. Bait them in!
