    I like it Wolfie, well not the huge scope maybe but the handirifle in hornet will certainly be err well handy. Reloading hornet always pays. Factory is kind of held down a bit due to some ancient flimsy actions made a long old time ago. For economy I use to do WMR performance level loads on blue dot but iirc don't go over 7.5gn!! I also use to put slower powders like 322 in but it doesn't get enough pressure up so gives WMR levels again but is kinda backwards and wasteful really.

    Crack from super sonic bullets increases as the size of the bullet increases. So it will be loader. The mod isn't there to moderate the sonic crack, just the combustion gasses rapid expansion.

    Joking aside, what is the attraction of texel? My friends have them. I believe they can have issues with their throats...I hear them coughing all the time.

    I cleared a shop basement out of flood damaged cartridges. Had thousands for nowt. That lasted years, salvaged shot wads and powder.

    I sold two muzzloaders to someone in summer that was in a clay shoot for muzzloaders. He said it was getting more popular.

    I honestly doubt reloading today will save much Phil. It was viable in the 90's but powder and primers today are very expensive. A decent machine is expensive. The cheap machines seem to always have issues. I think it's time you switched to muzzloaders Phil, it's the only viable option today ??

    What's that green stuff? Has that come off your feet?. What's wrong with them? You mentioned cracked didn't you? Have you been putting vasaline on them mate? Unless infected you gotta soften the hard skin. A water soak will only be temporary, possibly wash more material oils away!

    I haven't mate. £30 a pound of powder. 7000÷90=77.8 ...about 2.6p for powder. Caps around 8p. Forget the shot pricing. Probably around 25p a pop I think. I stamp my own cards for wads.

    That'll be CCI stingers Phil. The CCI velocitors are about 1400 and the CCI mini mag are around the 1250 mark. ??
