Sad news....I have just asked for a refund for the Wulf! It keeps freezing. The latest firmware has made it worse!! Not very happy right now ?

Got similar one myself. It's just tried to kill two peacocks on a little smallholding. Baiting and camera go down tomorrow. Its funny how you can get to know individual animals after you hear and see them a few times.

This is why I put in every effort before march. I usually slack off now unless I actually find an active earth. Dealing with cubs is not an issue, don't like it but no issues with the responsibility.

Never heard of that one....will an old ABBA tape work?
-
Could it just be a poor battery connection. I've got some Samsung batteries that I had to bend up the positive side a fraction.

Plenty. Called a few in recently by hand that a decent dog would of caught. I don't own an electronic caller and sometimes just use a shotgun or lamp. Sometimes I use a flintlock, which is possibly more difficult than using a good dog!

Be all right with a bit of a brushing. -
So sorry but I shot twice again. It's gotten so bad now I don't know I'm doing it! The 130yard buck went down to a spine shot but within seconds my nasty habit of quickly reloading ended it instantly when I saw it lift it's head. After a full day in the field I've seen one fox and seen six fallow. One was a super mature buck with heavy antler. The second shot although destroyed the liver of the downed buck took the top of the heart off and exited. Time for a wee whiskey I think.

Thank you Stav, very kind of you. I'll keep it in mind mate??

Hoping to pick up a 22 this week. Not had one for a while.

Bonny rabbits mate. Nicely played the fox. What were you using, 22?

Humans suffer from tunnel vision often, they/we lose sight of the bigger picture very quickly.

It was Ben yes. I'm sure a better ir would really boost the image. The video is out of focus because I was pushing my luck I didn't bother focusing. Day time is very good but I don't really have much to compare with except a little sytong 66. It is way better than that in day and night. On 32x the image gets a little grainy in day but still ok. It's an ok unit. I got it from optics warehouse reduced in price, factory refurbished....what ever that means but does need a firmware update, it will freeze occasionally but a simple reboot takes moments. I'll do it one day though

Well a bit of both. There has been a couple of fox's visiting the chicken units next to me despite the birds are locked up. I've photographed one of them on the next farm. Now I don't know if it's the same one but on a hunch for the last hour I thought I will go and call from under a large beech that regularly produces. On the way I even thought I could see one curled up asleep just outside a tree line and as I took my eyes off it to work out my approach when I looked again it was gone! So I was kind of confident one might come in. 25yards first contact. Can't beat th

BOOM BOOM! 3" 54g BB. Lovely bit of thrutch. Oh yeah, I'm sorry, I did it again, I shot twice. I just can't help myself ?.

That is why I never advocate head shots, I'm not say never but I'm saying I never recommend it. In my video you can observe my shift to low neck because the shoulder is now shielding the chest. Being a neck shot and uncertain of just paralysis as soon as I can get one in the chest.

All the requisites are there. They have never had it easier in sifting out nutters but if they don't bother checking or put differently, doing their job how will further restrictions work? Eejits.

Some people never cease to amaze me how they think and do things Stav. I just keep away from them, eejits

Yeah and it should be the police who take it on the chin, like they should of over Dunblane. They had in both cases all the Intel they needed to revoke licenses. Now we pay

So you agree that if as you put it a fox is spinning around shoot again. So how come when I related an incident with a big fox that needed shooting again you criticised it? Is there any useful reasoning behind anything you ask or do you simply wish to be suggestive and demeaning? Or is it you just don't know when to keep your mouth shut?
